Your contribution to our school is greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten. God Bless!!” Student Council is coordinating the Adopt-A- Family Christmas service project again this Advent to help build a spirit of community of giving. Every grade will sponsor a family: K3, K4, and K5 will share a family. These families have been referred by numerous child service agencies, schools, and churches in Waukesha County. The Christmas Clearing Council of Waukesha County has served this community and its children for over sixty years, and Holy Apostles School has sponsored families for over 20 years. Scrip News! Thank you to all the families that purchase Scrip! We have sold $246,469 in Scrip cards since May 1st! That is a

profit of $11,822.67! Please remember that we will not be placing an order the week of conferences/Thanksgiving. We will resume ordering Scrip on Monday, Nov. 27th.

We will be selling Scrip during Conferences from 5-8 pm on both Monday and Tuesday. We have

increased our inventory to help you out with your Thanksgiving break needs…..Roundys, Sendiks, Woodmans, Speedway, Kwik Trip, Kohls, Target, Walmart, Starbucks and much more! Stop by the Scrip table with your cash or check book and see what we have to offer! If you are new to Scrip and want to learn more, please stop by and we can answer any questions you may have about the program.

Clubs, activities, & student news ...

Congratulations to our FIRST Lego League teams who participated in the Regionals Tournament at Marquette High School on Sunday! Team Blockheads #30862 who included

Maddy Gratz, Katrina Hubacek, Glenn Langer, Naomi Nitka, Jameson Stoltman, and Brady Wozniak were nominated for the Organized Presentation award, Strategy & Innovation award, and won the Rising Star award. Team Laabsters #33444 who included Rose Balestrieri, Maggie Burke, Amelia Mattioli, Lilli Schneider, Katie Stomma, and Franccesca Thomas won the Core Values Inspiration award. This team also qualified for “on deck” at Sectionals! Our mentor and HA alum Zach Godec also

won the Mentor Award. Both teams did a wonderful job presenting their ideas on water and in the robot competition. Great job to both teams representing HA!

A special thank you goes out to all the people that helped guide, problem solve, and challenge our teams along the way: Coach Balestrieri, Coach Langer, Mentor Zach Godec, Mrs. Radermacher, Adam Roder, New Berlin Blitz Robotics 5148, and all of our wonderful parents!

Clubs, activities, & student news ...

The Crescendo Choir will be performing the National Anthem at the Wednesday, January 17th Milwaukee Bucks vs. Miami Heat game (7pm)! Tickets are available for any HA families that would enjoy

attending this event. We actually have to sell 100 tickets, so please help us out if you can!! Tickets will be $24 each and will be in the 400 Level Side Court location of the arena. If you would like tickets reserved in your name, please email Mrs. Wilson: [email protected].

Attention Skiers & Snowboarders: It’s time to start thinking about the HA Ski Club at Alpine Valley! Ski club is a family activity open to those with students in school or faith formation at Holy Apostles. The club visits Alpine Valley Resort six times per season, either on Friday nights or Sunday afternoons. Beginner to Advanced skiers / snowboarders are welcome. All members of the student's family receive the discounted rates that Alpine Valley offers us. Girl Scouts, SAVE THE DATE for the Girl Scout Christmas Party! It is Friday, December 8, 2:30-4:00 in the gym. Christmas themed games and crafts, open to all HA Girl Scouts. Permission slips will be coming soon!

Our Cresendo Choir was honored to be the only children’s choir to perform at the Common Prayer of Lutherans & Catholics celebrated at Ascension Lutheran this past Oct 31st . They sang a prelude and lead music for the lighting of candles for the 5 commitments the Lutheran and Catholic Bishops signed at that celebration! They were celebrating 50 years of Lutherans and Catholics working and praying together !

Volunteer opportunities! Our nursery offers parents the convenience of dropping their younger children off to play and have fun during the 9:15 am Mass. We can only make this service available if

we have dedicated volunteers to help staff the nursery on a regular basis. Please consider sharing one hour of your time. We are looking for volunteers 16 and older to watch and play with the young children during the 9:15 am Mass. This is a great opportunity to serve our parish. Congratulations to the Marquette Boys Volleyball State Champions! We are so proud of our HA alumni: Adam Schulte and Jack Von Rueden!

5 members of last years Boys Seton Volleyball Championship Team met up at the Kaukauna JV Volleyball Invitational Tournament this past weekend. Jake Berenz Wil Gottchalk and Joe Gress play for New Berlin United. Zach

Solomon and Chris Miklosy play for Catholic Memorial. The boys enjoyed catching up during a lunch break! Nine members of last years boys Seton Championship team play volleyball for their respective high schools including: New Berlin United, Brookfield Central, Catholic Memorial and Marquette High.
