What to do
Materials
First, you’re going to fold a piece of yellow construction paper in half.
Next, you’re going to cut 4 slits into the folded side, making sure to group them in pairs an inch apart.

Then, unfold the piece of paper and pop out the slits you cut. You want to make sure the two parts of the paper bend the opposite direction of the card.
Next, fold the blue piece of paper in half and glue the yellow paper inside. But don’t glue down the slits you made!
Grab your Batman and Robin logo stencils and trace them on a separate piece of paper. Color them in with yellow and black markers and cut them out.
Next, glue the Batman symbol onto the fi rst pop-out strip and the Robin symbol onto the second pop-out strip.

Above the Batman symbol, write “Thanks for being the”, and above the Robin symbol, write “to my.” You want it to read: “Thanks for being the Batman to my Robin”.
Then, write your personalized message to your dad underneath. Decorate the front of your card with comic book panels, Super Hero logos, and more!
