XC-3D55 System

The Apex Instruments flow measurement systems are designed to perform flow measurement sampling in accordance with US EPA Method 2, 2F, and 2G. A typical system comprises of the XC-3D55 console housed in a portable yet rugged injection molded case, a lightweight sample line with Type S pitot, and a three-hole 2G pitot or five-hole 2F pitot with 2” oversheath of specified length. The Apex Instruments flow measurement system has the essentials required to determine stack gas velocity and volumetric flow rates from a stationary source and is contained in a compact and rugged design.

The XC-3D55 is designed for conducting flow measurement in accordance with EPA methods 2, 2F, 2G, and 2H. The console contains 2 pressure transducers with Digital Displays for measuring the Total velocity and the pitch pressure component, a bi-directional “Null” Magnehelic and inclinometer for measuring the yaw angle and a temperature display for the stack temperature. The console can be coupled with a type “S” or 3-hole prism pitot for Method 2G; or a 5-hole Pitot for Method 2F along with the inclinometer pod and integrated umbilical.
