When you want to determine the quality strategy for your production, more and more you need to measure dimensions that cannot be measured with conventional instruments.

Our objective was to develop a series of video and multi-sensor measuring machines for general quality control with a market-matched measuring range.

The DeMeet-220 is developed as a personal measuring machine with a desktop design. For the inspection of larger products or for measuring a batch of products in one measuring cycle the DeMeet-400 series is the allround measuring machine, with the DeMeet-705 at the end of the range.

The DeMeet measuring machines are designed with a fixed bridge construction. The application of quality components ensure excellent performance and high accurate measurements.

With an excellent price-performance ratio the DeMeet measuring machines break the barrier for high precision quality control on the production floor as well as in measuring laboratories.

With non-contact measuring the measurements are performed without the risk of product deformation or damage. In addition to this, the measuring area (image view) defined by the magnification of the applied lens benefits measuring speed and accuracy. Within the image view a very high accuracy can be achieved.

A Sony CCD color camera is integrated for a clear image with an excellent contrast and a high resolution.

Telecentric optics are supplied as a standard to avoid perspective image distortion. The DeMeet is either equipped with Nikon or Leica-Design optics for a brilliant image with high contrast. The lenses generate a display magnification from 40x to 400x.

Optimal illumination is essential for accurate measurements. The DeMeet is standard equipped with three different light sources.

A ringlight consisting of a 3 rings LED pattern, which can be controlled per individual ring, segment and cell, is standard supplied for optimal light configuration. The ringlight can be set in intensity and angle to achieve the best contrast with clearly defined edges.

The LED based backlight and coaxial light can be adjusted in intensity. The coaxial light can be used for illumination inside deep located structures.

When measuring certain features encounters the physical limits of non-contact measurement, the DeMeet machines can be additionally equipped with a touch probe system. With the DeMeet Combo model both principles are integrated and measurements can be performed by the optical and the probing system. Standard a Renishaw TP20 with a 5-way stylus configuration is supplied. Applications of multi-sensor measuring are among others in the precision engineering, medical, plastics and electronics industry.

Multi-sensor technology

The user-friendly 3D multi-sensor measuring software Approve for DeMeet guarantees fast and easy operation to perform your measuring tasks. The software has a logical and intuitive user interface. For single product inspection or batch measurement the DeMeet software assists to control your production process by inspecting, programming, measuring, reporting and controlling.

Approve for DeMeet software is true multi-sensor software for combined video and probe measurements in one measuring program. The program is displayed in a graphical tree structure for program creation and editing. Easy settings of edge detection, light configuration and alignments. Constructions and alignments can be performed in 3D. A graphical section provides a real-time 3D view of measuring results.

Image processing is based on scanning technology and performed with automatic edge detection through sophisticated algorithms. Noise and dirt in the image are filtered out. Touch probe measurements can be performed in addition to the optical system with an easy graphical selection of the stylus configuration.

Very fast 3D machine control with curved and smooth moves by an improved motor controller. Parallel machine movement and image processing.

The measuring results can be reported with the standard PDF report facility or exported to for example Approve DeMeet DataManager for statistical analysis.

Product fixtures

Solid positioning of the measuring product is essential for accurate measurements, especially for touch probe measurements. A fixture system can also be used for batch measurements. The measuring table of the DeMeet is prepared for DF-System and Alufix fixture systems.

DF-System is designed for constructing 2D/3D product fixtures, particularly for optical measurements.

Produced from extruded or machined anodized aluminum, DF-System consists of a full range of fixture components and is also available in basic sets.
