COURSE DESCRIPTION:The Advanced Technical Security Products Training Course covers the security landscape and basic IPSand SMS installation, configuration and operation. It covers basic troubleshooting and diagnostics,focusing on commonly seen issues. The course is primarily instructor-led.

Students will perform some basic lab assignments in order familiarize themselves with the user interfaceand common administrative tasks.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:The Expert Technical Security Products Training Course teaches concepts and best practices necessaryfor implementation planning, installation, configuration, security management, and system administra-tion of the TippingPoint solution. Through interactive lectures and hands-on labs, students will learn toimplement the IPS and the SMS using the standard interface modes.

Students will also acquire in-depth expert knowledge of how to tune and configure a TippingPoint IPSfor optimum performance on their network and learn advanced configuration management of multipleIPS's using the Security Management System.
