Meet the Barnes & Noble College Mobile App. The app offers a brand new way for students to connect with the bookstore, making their shopping experience easy and convenient.

FEATURES OF THE APP:

orders placed online and rental orders placed in store

• Rental Reminders – get automatic notifications

when books are due

• Exclusive Access – receive offers that are

exclusively available to app users

• Event Notifications – find out about sweepstakes,

promotions, sales, and events at the store

HHOW TO DOWNLOAD & USE THE APP:

To download the app, open the App Store from your phone. For iPhone users, open the iTunes App store. For Android users, open the Google Play Store. Search for “My College Bookstore” and select and install the Barnes & Noble College Bookstore App.

Which devices is the Barnes & Noble College Bookstore app compatible with?

• The app is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.

How do users receive their 25% Off coupon for downloading the app?

• The 25% Off Coupon can be found on the Promotions Screen of the app. Customers can use the coupon online or in store to receive 25% off 1 School Spirit Apparel item. To use the discount online, customers should use promo code APPYDAY. To apply the discount on an in store order, booksellers should use reason code 29.

How do I receive rental reminders and other order notifications? How do I view my orders?

•• In order to receive order notifications and view your orders, you must log in with the email address used when your order was placed. To log in, visit the Activity screen and follow the steps to enter and verify your email address.

If you already logged in but need to switch to a different email address, you must log out first by navigating to the Settings screen and selecting ‘Logout’. Then, visit the Activity screen to verify and login with your email address.

Who do I contact if I experience an issue with the app?

• If you have a problem with the app, please open a Footprints ticket or call Support Services ext. 2100.

After downloading the app from the App Store, tap on the Get Started button to enter your details. The app will automatically change to incorporate the colors and logo of the school selected.

The Promotions Screen is where you will find sweepstakes, promotions, sales, and event notifications. This is also where you will receive exclusive offers and discounts. If you have a custom notification you would like sent to your students, contact the Consumer your students, contact the Consumer Marketing Team!

The Activity Screen is where you can view the status of your orders and order history. When you navigate to this screen, you will be prompted to verify your email address. You will receive an email containing a PIN to enter into the app. After you enter the PIN, you will be able to access your Activity screen and to access your Activity screen and receive order notifications.

TIP: It’s important to sign in with the e-mail address used when the order was placed. If a student has trouble or isn’t receiving notifications, always ensure they are signed in with the correct email address!

When new order information is available or a promotion is running at the store, you will be alerted with a push notification.

TTo disable push notifications, visit the Settings screen, select Notifications from the menu, and toggle the Enable Push Notification option to off.
