A block of rooms has been reserved at the fAuberge in Lake Charles. Rates are $109 for single or double accommodations. Participants can make room reservations bycalling the hotel at 337-395-7532 and ask for the LASBO Room Block (code #SLASB04). The deadline for these reservations is March 18.After that date, accommodations will be based on availability of rooms and rates may increase. Check-in time is 4p.m. and check-out is '~=i~ic~~11a.m. Cancellations of rooms must be made 48 hours prior to arrival in order to avoid a "no show" fee.

Registration should be received by March 20. The cost is $175 for LASBO members and $200 fornon-members. The optional pre-conference certification workshops onWednesday afternoon are an additional $35. A special rate for retirees is $100. A $25 late fee is charged for all registrations received after March 20. The registration feeincludes all materials, activities, and functions. Checks should be made payable to LASBO Spring Conference. A full refund will be made for cancellations made by March 20; a$50 cancellation fee will be withheld from March 21-26; and no refunds after March 26.

This year, a formal golf tournament is not scheduled. Those interested in golf can make arrangements on an informalbasis. A listing of golf courses can be provided on request. You can email or call Billie Tripp about your interest and she can letyou know of others who have expressed an interest to play You can then contact one another to work out arrangements.

• Business casual attire is encouraged for the entire conference.• Door Prizes - each school system is encouraged to bring a door prize (or a basket of assorted gifts) with a $25 minimum

value. Something unique to your parish is recommended.• Continuing Education Hours - certificates of attendance will be awarded. The conference will meet a maximum of 16hours

of credit toward recertification. LASBO will maintain Continuing Professional Education (CPE) records of attendance forCPA's to meet CPErequirements (14 hours maximum including certification workshop is requested) .
