If government adviso-ries determine that it is not safe for our classroom facilities to open, we will offer courses in a variety of ways:

About UsThe 32BJ Training Fund is a joint labor- management partnership that offers training to eligible participants at no cost. The Fund is supported by contributions negotiated between 32BJ SEIU and participating employers. Our mission is to train every participant to grow to the next level. We want to continually raise standards by providing 32BJ members with the tools they need to meet the challenges of a changing industry. At the 32BJ Training Fund, everything we do supports the goal of making it possible for members to get the education, training, and skills they need to grow in the quickly changing property services world.

About Course OfferingsCoursesCourses take place over an entire trimester, which is 11 to 16 weeks long. The length is indicated under each course title, shown in the following format:COURSE: 11 WEEKS

Quick Courses Quick courses vary in length, ranging from 1 to 10 sessions. The number of sessions and the length are indicated under each quick course title, shown in the following format: QUICK COURSE: TWO 3-HOUR SESSIONS

Courses and quick courses are offered at day, evening, and weekend times. Schedules and locations are located underneath the descrip-tions. 11 week courses run all 3 trimesters unless otherwise stated.

WEEKDAY SESSIONS last 2 to 3 hours and meet once or twice per week.

WEEKEND SESSIONS last 2 to 6 hours and meet once per week.

Remote Learning Remote learning is when the student and instructor are separate.

Information is shared electronically.

Remote learning is teacher-led, not self-guided.

It provides the ability to learn and connect, when classes cannot occur in person.

Citizenship Exam: Test PreparationCOURSE: 11 WEEKS

Prepare for the U.S. Citizenship Examination and learn about the 32BJ Legal Fund benefit. Review the questions on the citizenship exam and practice the citizenship interview. Consult the Legal Fund for questions about Immigration fees. Must be currently enrolled in English as a Second Language course or have appropriate English skills.
