DENNIS ZIEMIENSKI is an internationally known painter, illustrator and

designer. His strong and richly colored images

borrow much of their inspiration from early

20th century paintings and posters, which can

be seen with this years Fall Arts Festival piece,

“Teton Reflections” a 54x42 oil on linen.

Dennis has taught at the California College of

Arts and Crafts and the Academy of Art in San

Francisco. He has had studios in California and

New York. Traveling to Europe frequently, Dennis

has acquired an affinity for the architecture,

lifestyle and light of the Mediterranean. His

paintings have been in numerous one man and

group exhibitions, winning many awards.

Churchill Downs selected Dennis as the Official

Artist of the 2006 Kentucky Derby. Currently,

Dennis is working on gallery shows, commissioned

paintings, and murals.

This gala celebration begins at 6 p.m with an opportunity to shop and meet over 100 artists and designers. Guests view one-of-a-kind creations while sipping signature cocktails and enjoying gourmet bites by Genevieve Catering. A captivating addition this year is the Designer Show House where juried artists’ creations and custom interior design come alive by integrating one-of-a- kind objects into a home environment. Attendees walk through professionally designed rooms. A highlight of the sold out evening is the always stunning Fashion Show. Designers’ innovative couture collections are modeled in an intimate

runway format, accompanied by fabulous themes and great music.
