Revolutionary solidarity with Theofilos Mavropoulos, Spyros Dravilas and theCCF: Imprisoned Members Cell who are on hungerstrike in Greece

Wrath knows no borders!Stop the Press! The RO-CCF won theircentral demand for the transfer of theircomrades from Domokos prison -Victory! Their hungerstrike is over!

So far, 10 imprisoned comrades are onhungerstrike in Greece: Spyros Dravilas,8 of the 9 Revolutionary Organisation -Conspiracy of Cells of Fire (RO-CCF)imprisoned members, as well as theanarchist revolutionary TheofilosMavropoulos.

Spyros Dravilas is on hungerstrike from 4thApril. Gerasimos Tsakalos, PanagiotisArgirou, Christos Tsakalos from 8th April.Haris Hadzimihalakis, GiorgiosPolydoros, Damiano Bolano from 17thApril. Giorgos Nikolopoulos from 26thApril. Theofilos Mavropoulos from 28thApril. Olga Ekonomidou from 30th April.Michalis Nikolopoulos, imprisonedmember of the RO-CCF is not onhungerstrike, but attended an Athens courtdate of the Revolutionary Organisation todeclare a written statement of ongoingwar. The other imprisoned members refuseto appear until their hungerstrike demandsare met. The next trial date of the RO-CCFis on the 11th May, and the Greek Statehas declared that the trial will not bepostponed by the hungerstrike, that theimprisoned members of the RO-CCF andtheir accused will remain in prison beforetrial, as the authorities attempt to subjectthem to the whims of the investigators, forthe over 250 attacks claimed by the RO-CCF.

The various demands are :

1. The access to regularly leave theprison, as is stated in the repressivelegislature as regards Spyros Dravilas, who has completed 1/5th of hissentence, the required time beforeapplication to have open days. Spyrosis denied this leave in a vengefulgesture by the prison authorities.

2. The permanent transfer ofmembers of the RO-CCF,Gerasimos Tsakalos andPanagiotis Arygirou, to where therest of the members of the RO-CCF are. The intrusive searchesand transfers that the membersof the RO-CCF are subject tomust cease.

3. The release of Stella Antoniou,a revolutionary anarchistprisoner who has a serioushealth condition.

Imprisoned anarchist revolutionariesAlexandros Mitroussias, GiorgosKaragiannidis and Kostas Sakkaswho were on hungerstrike from 6thApril calling for the release of StellaAntoniou and the rejection of thenew fabricated judicial processagainst them, ended theirhungerstrike on 27th April, citing adefeat, but their resolve stands firm

in their struggle. Prisoners in the generalpopulation, including revolutionarycomrades, showed their solidarity byrefusing the prison-food.

We echo the call for an immediateinitiation of an international wave ofrevolutionary solidarity with thehungerstrikers in the Greek prisons; theanarchist revolutionary comrades, and allthe dignified prisoners who struggleagainst intolerable conditions for theirfreedom. The judicial-penal decision isreported to be already decided regardingthe demands of the hungerstrikers, so itwill only be a matter of time before themaneuver of the State is shown.

Let’s turn every move the authoritiesmake into a weapon that arms us, andreturns our strength for the continuationof the internationalist war for a worldwithout borders, prisons, capitalisteconomies and global elites.

relation whatsoever with CCF aresummoned for these interrogations, including, among others, theanarchist Stella Antoniou whoseapplications for release on bailwere denied one after the other bythe judicial authorities, despite herserious health problem - facts onwhich we reserve the right to takea position in the near future.

Well then, patience has its limitsand wrath remains infinite, so wedeclare that from Sunday, April8th, we start hunger strike request-ing our final transfer and place-ment in Koridallos prisons, to putan end to our repeated vindictivetransfers and our physical andpsychological wear and tear.

For us, the hunger strike is not apassive resistance or a peacefulprotest, in order to elicit thesensitivity of coward bureaucratsof the Power, or the humanism ofprogressive apologists of thesystem.

It’s a way to re-define our bodyourselves, outside prison guards’authority. Perhaps this is thesweetest contradiction for ananarchist urban guerrilla, becausein our fight for freedom prison isoften the price we pay, and thedanger of death always lurks in thestruggle for life.

But what never changes is that weremain forever anarchists of praxis. An anarchist of action remains ananarchist even without a pen and agun, if he/she holds the weaponthat contains everything else.‘A determined conscience thatsays, I fight until the end.’

Gerasimos Tsakalos,Panagiotis ArgirouMembers of the imprisoned cellof CCF/FAI-IRFKorydallos prisons, 6-4/2012

PS. We send our solidarity toSpyros Dravilas, who also went onhunger strike (from 4/4 inDomokos prisons) and is one ofthe few prisoners that do notconstitute one more statistic of thepassive mass ‘residing in prisons’.

Letter from CCF imprisonedmember Christos Tsakalos

‘When one does not die for the other, thenwe are already dead’Tasos Livaditis

I am not a humanist and therefore will nottalk like a humanist. I place myself on theside of the anarchists of praxis. In thebattle for a free life without leaders andminions, often a price to pay is the prison. This price has been imposed on me a yearago, since I am imprisoned–CAPTIVE bythe State. Captive but not defeated;because for me, as an anarchist urbanguerrilla, prison is a temporary stop butnever the terminal. During this whole year, Idid not allow prison to tame or to ‘correct’me, or to subdue my body and my memorythrough the dead repetition of the time-jailer.

From the very first moment, however, aceaseless psychological warfare and aspecial detention regime was launchedagainst all comrades who participate in theConspiracy of Cells of Fire.

Personally, I was led to Grevena prisons, initially ‘placed’ in a protection ward(where I refused to stay and so I wasremoved), while I have been moved morethan 20 times with emergency transfers —with special bulletproof trucks, EKAM,antiterrorism task forces, special units forprison transfers — during which I was heldin the disciplinary ward of Diavata prisonsand in Thessaloniki prison transfersdepartment, each time with a twentymember police unit for ‘personal’ custody.

The truth is that I did not expect anythingless from the adversary. Once we declaredwar against the State and its society, weknew the cost of our actions, and weremain unrepentant in our choices. Thisdoes not mean, though, that we will remainwith folded hands. We owe ourselves onemore fight… until the next one.

Thus, I refuse to put life in parentheses. Here, inside the prison, in the land ofshadows I remain at loggerheads with theexistent, its uniforms and subordinates. Inthis battle, without risking your life you arenot even able to live your life with passion. In nowadays massive society of the Statethere is neither risk, nor passion. There isonly fear and routine. Most people arefrightened and alone; but never alive.

Letter from CCFimprisoned membersGerasimos Tsakalos andPanagiotis Argiroudeclaring hunger strike

‘The tigers of wrath are wiser than thehorses of instruction’ William Blake

Each of us knows that to get his life intheir hands, they must refuse thedialogues and illusions of democracyand come into conflict with Power, witha knife between their teeth.

From the first moment of our imprison-ment, we chose not to surrender to thedictatorship of the penitentiary system. From the first moment, the State andthe antiterrorist unit’s Tagmatasfalites(security battalions) sent specificcommands to the prison service, inorder to give special treatment both tous and the other CCF comrades.

We are already a half years in prisons. From the early days of our arrest I,Gerasimos Tsakalos, was moved toMalandrino prisons and I refused to stayin the special protection ward, I got adisciplinary transfer from Corinthprisons and later, with the comradePanagiotis Argirou, we came to verbaland physical clash with prison guardswhen we refused to accept the humiliat-ing strip search they wanted to enforceon us. Also, so far we have been movedover twenty times due to emergencytransfers — with special bulletprooftrucks, EKAM [special suppressiveantiterrorist units], special units forprison transfers, antiterrorism taskforces — to and from Korydallos prisons,in Athens, for the ongoing new prosecu-tions that ‘arise’ from the terror-interro-gators (Mokkas, Baltas) concerning theanarchist guerrilla action of CCF.

Currently, we are once again inKorydallos prisons due to the prosecu-tions of the 250 incendiary and explo-sive attacks by the Conspiracy, pros-ecutions which now skillfully emerged.Especially this new persecution, whichtakes place shortly before the generalelections — as in the case of Halandri —coupled with politicians’ statementsabout ‘cracking down the hoodies’, ispart of a wider anti-anarchist campaigninitiated back in 2009; more so since, other than us, people who have NO

When one does not die for the other, then we are already dead. So, today,Sunday, April 8th, I begin hungerstrike in factual solidarity with com-rades Panagiotis Argirou andGerasimos Tsakalos, who are carryingout a hunger strike demanding theirtransfer in Korydallos prisons and thepermanent cessation of vengefultransfers from one prison to another.Remaining consistent in our wordsand choices as Conspiracy, this moveis also a first gesture towards thecreation of a political collective forsymbiosis in prisons.

So, now that the [Easter] holidays arecoming, now that everyone does theirshopping, or cheats their poverty, indecorated streets and shop windows,we ‘offer’ hunger strike at your festivetable. As anyone can understand, thehunger strike is an ultimate means ofstruggle. It is a battle to the death inslow motion. It is the will to liveagainst resignation and submission. But it is something else as well. It isthe mirror of society’s guilt. It is themirror that reveals society’s silences. It is the mirror of indifference, themirror of empty values, the mirror ofresignation, the mirror of fear, themirror of the lonely crowd… Behindthe mirror there is LIFE. It is enoughto break the mirror.

PS. During this same period, a hungerstrike is conducted for the release ofthe anarchist Stella Antoniou and thetermination of prosecution proceed-ings regarding the 250 incendiary andexplosive attacks for which the CCFhas claimed political responsibility, against individuals who have noassociation with the Conspiracy.

My support to the above requests ismore than obvious.

SOLIDARITY BETWEENANARCHISTS OF PRAXIS ISNOT JUST WORDS

In our non-negotiable decision toturn our daily life into revolutionthrough direct action and theanarchist urban guerrilla warfare,we began a course with a startingpoint but with no final stop.We made and continue to makechoices which completely includeour lives. We are proud of this.

Our minds travel beyond the wallsof prisons, planning the newhostilities in the streets of illegal-ity, where we lived moments ofabsolute freedom. Until themoment when this desire becomesreality, we continue with passionthe struggle within the prison, withthe means we have now.We had declared as Conspiracy[along with the anarchist revolu-tionary Theofilos Mavropoulos]that if the demand of the com-rades, members of our organiza-tion Gerasimos Tsakalos andPanagiotis Argirou, for their finaltransfer from Domokos prisons [toKorydallos prisons] is not satisfied,we will join the hungerstrike theyhave already started since 8/4with our comrade and brotherChristos Tsakalos.

Thus, we announce that we begina hunger strike on Tuesday 17/4next to our comrades Gerasimos,Christos and Panagiotis, who willthen be on their 10th day onhunger strike. In the struggle fordignity we will definitely bewinners, at any price…

Letter from anarchistrevolutionary TheofilosMavropoulos

Because, when you attach yourselfcompletely to achievement of agoal, it’s certain that you willsucceed.

Because, when you throw yourselfinto the battle to the bitter end, thenyou’ve already won.

Because, comradely anarchistrelationships are what we set forthand what we’re fighting for.

And finally,because dignity knows no

compromise - on Saturday 28/4I begin HUNGER STRIKE as atoken of solidarity with the com-rades Gerasimos Tsakalos andPanagiotis Argirou, with the goal ofachieving their definite transfer fromDomokos prisons.

Letter from CCFimprisoned memberOlga Ekonomidou

Announcing the beginning of herhungerstrike as of 30/4:

One year and one month in prison forme.

You never forget the date of yourarrest. It is a hub of forced change. Itwas the point where it looked like youwere leaving a home, plans, equip-ment, ideas for actions, your strategy.

At that moment we were turned intocaptives of the State, and nowkilometers of distance separate mycomrades and I, sometimes few andsometimes many. In this brief periodof imprisonment, our vindictiveconsecutive prison transfers seem-ingly impede the communicationbetween us, and time has allied withthe Power, in order to make us feelisolated. But this is not the case inreality.

What we left behind in that homewere only the expendable materials, those that you easily replace withothers. We constantly carry the restin our minds and hearts, the plans, the ideas, the strategy, the emotions, the moments, more advanced, moreprepared for battle. The distance andthe time are of no importance; theyare relative terms.

For me, it’s like I was sitting justyesterday at the same table with therest of my comrades and conspiringagainst our next target. When weshared the same desire to attack thevalues and ideals of this rottenauthoritarian world, we agreed thatwe will go on until the end; that wedo not abandon one another, and donot retreat. The need of one of usbecomes a decision for the rest of us.

On April 8th the Conspiracy of Cellsof Fire decided to launch a hungerstrike, demanding the definite transferof Gerasimos Tsakalos andPanagiotis Argirou from Domokosprisons, as well as the cessation ofvengeful prison transfers for theremaining members of the organiza-tion. The three of my comrades arecurrently on the fourth week of

hunger strike, so the first serioushealth consequences have alreadyoccurred. And time passes by…

In the context of the predeter-mined strategy for beginning ofhunger strike by each of us, onMonday, April 30th, I also beginhunger strike, and I fight to theend by decision.

FOREVER IN BATTLE

Letter fromSpyros Dravilas

Spyros Dravilas (an inmate ofDomokos prisons) is currentlyheld in the hospital of Koridallosprisons.

THE STATE AND ITSINSTITUTIONS REVENGETHOSE WHO DO NOTSUCCUMB TO THEIR SYSTEMBY DEPRIVING THE VESTEDRIGHT OF TEMPORARY LEAVE.

I begin today, Wednesday 4/4, ahungerstrike, as a last legitimatemeans of protest, against thecontinuous and with ridiculousreasons, the decisions of rejectmade by the responsible councilof the prison, to my legitimateright, to receive a regular leave, although I have completed for 2and half years now, the requiredlimit of one fifth of my sentence.I am sure that after my triumphantunanimous acquittal by the MixedSworn Court of Volos which putan end to the fabricated casewhich basically deprived me for2,5 years of my right for leave, theprison of Domokos tookVENGEANCE against the actionof liberating a prisoner which tookplace in June 2006, and decidedmy constant deprival of my rightfor regular leave days despite thefact that this should be given nomatter what the crime committedand the sentence given, as soonas the legal limit has been met, aslong as there is no active deten-tion and outstanding charge for a

felony. With the declaration of my hungerstrike I consider the management of thePrison and the juridical workers respon-sible for the consequences on my healthand my life as well as the protection ofmy legal rights as a hungerstriker andspecifically, the survival in a specialspace.

TO END I STRESS THE STABILITY OFMY CHOICE FOR A HUNGER STRIKEUNTIL THE END

Announcement about theend of their hunger strike,by the detained anarchistsAlexandros Mitroussias,Giorgos Karagiannidis andKostas Sakkas

27/4/12

We announce that we are stopping thehunger strike we started on 6/4 demand-ing the lifting of the imprisonmentsimposed on us for previous incendiary andexplosive attacks by the AnarchistOrganization CCF as well as the immedi-ate release of comrade Stella Antoniou. The first demand was denied as well asStellas release application put in at 6/3.Objectively we were defeated since nodemand was satisfied. In this action wewanted to show as a spearhead of thedemands –because of our case- the pilotapplication of the terrorlaw where thestate attributes us with participation in 2organizations and 4 trial briefs for thesame time period, imprisons us and sendsus to court with no legal cover.

We tried also for the comrade to bereleased immediately for health reasons.

To those who stood in solidarity in thisattempt of ours, to those who acted atnight, we tell them solidarity does not geta thank you but a raised clenched fist.

Alexandros Mitrousias, GiorgosKaragiannidis, Kostas Sakkas.

SOLIDARITY ACTIONSSince April 6th to date, solidarityinterventions as well as arson attacksand sabotages have taken place inseveral parts of Greece (from Heraklionon Crete Island, Athens, Livadia, Patras,Thessaloniki, to Veria and Komotini innorthern Greece), but also acrossEurope and Latin America - FromBarcelona in Catalonia, A Illa de Arousain Galicia and Murcia of Spain, Cardiff,Bristol, Cambridge in the UK,Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Ham-burg and Berlin in Germany, to ConoSur in Chile, La Paz in Bolivia, New Yorkin the US, and Anarchist Black Cross ofMedellin in Colombia.

People get locked up in Greek prisons formore than one and a half years beforeeven standing trial, and depending oneach judicial machination, those accusedof alleged crimes may be placed onremand over and over again. At great riskto their lives, some dare to continue thefight against Power. This is one of theharshest attempts of the regime to breakthe strong solidarity between comrades, both imprisoned and outside prison walls. We won’t let them break us. As SofoklisNigdelis once said from Grevena prisons,‘Solidarity and comradely collectivenessare some of our destructive weapons.’

Here is, as always, an incompletechronology of solidarity:

8 April, Berlin, Germany - CommandoLambros Foundas burn 9 cars ofDeutsche Telekom in solidarity with StellaAntoniou and the imprisoned fighters inGreece.

9 April, Athens, Greece - SpecialSecretariat of Public Administra-tion and Electronic Governmentattacked with explosive incendiarydevice by Revolutionary Action. Here is an extract from the claimof responsibility: “We integrate ourattack into the context of practicalresistance against structures ofdominance, seeking to contributetowards that end, which will leadto an ultimate deconstruction ofthe existent. … We dedicate thisblow to the four fighters, com-rades Kostas Sakkas, GiorgosKaragiannidis, AlexandrosMitroussias and Stella Antoniou, who are being held in pretrialdetention since December 4th,2010. The first three have goneon hunger strike demanding therelease of the anarchist comradeStella Antoniou on health grounds,as well as the lifting of the newvindictive prosecutions againstthem.”

11 April, Bristol, UK - Attackagainst Communications Infra-structure by Earth LiberationFront / Empowering Inferno. Here is an extract from the claimof responsibility: “We take respon-sibility for the attack on thecommunications mast on Dundryhill on 11th April, that took outfive communication services andtook off air BBC Radio Bristol andJack FM for more than 16 hours,as well as disrupting Avon andSomerset Police radio communi-

cations it seems (although they arerefusing to comment on this). We didthis by stuffing two tyres with rags andmethylated spirit, jamming them in thebundles of wires at the bottom of themast and then igniting them. It was ourpleasure to demonstrate that withmodest ability and ample will, we cancreate a rupture in ‘business as usual’.We want to interrupt the spectacle ofthe mass media, and the administrationof the technological-informationsociety. These radio stations and themedia in general enforce the interestsof the ruling class – the state andcorporations. Propaganda masquerad-ing as ‘objective news’ comes adverbatim from government and corpo-rate sources, and listeners get blastedwith a tidal wave of adverts worship-ping commodity lifestyle. Any criticismof the status quo is allowed, as long asit occurs within certain parameters, taking capitalism and civilisation asgiven, and entrenching the idea thatthese are inevitable. These criticisms, drained of any vitality, actually helpmaintain the existing order by making itappear tolerant. Genuinely revolution-ary ideas are met with violent repres-sion, as in the recent case of theanarchist counter information websitesCulmine and Parole Armate in Italy.Every repressive blow deserves ananswer. Mass media is the enemy of allrebellion and of every attempt to createa free life.

The media is just one tool of modernalienation. Technologies such as mobilephones and online networks havebecome so all-pervasive that othermore meaningful forms of communica-tion have been undermined. We areincreasingly atomised and connectedto each other through the mediation ofmass electronic devices. The techno-logical-information society makes iteasy to bury yourself in obsessiveupdating, reality TV, ‘social media’,popularity games and whatever getshanded down to blot out a way of lifewhich hinges on control and exclusion.Faced with all this, we aren’t boughtoff as accomplices to an impoverishedsociety that is collapsing the ecologywhich hosts us on this planet, and wereject the endless slide show of mediarevelry. This was our torch of solidarityto; Luca Abba (injured whilst resistingthe military-style occupation by policethugs in the Susa Valley) and the 25arrested across Italy fighting againstthe high speed train line construction;

.

the jailed eco-sabateurs Braulio andAdrian in Mexico along with Sadie andExile in the US; and members of theGreek revolutionary organisationConspiracy of Cells of Fire (who arenow threatened with having theirsentences lengthened) and the othersaccused in their case. OTE isnow just a subsidiary of DeutcheTelecom. The German multinational is acolossus in the sector of telecommuni-cations and actually is the largestcompany in of its kind in Europe, with amonopoly position in the internationalmarket. At the same time it is also apioneer in control and surveillancesystems. In 2008 amidst a scandalDeutche Telecom confirmed that it hadkept the information of mobile phonesfrom 17 million of its customers.Deutche Telecom cooperates closelywith the German state and its subsid-iary T-Systems has undertaken thedigital telecommunications of theGerman police.” The action is dedicatedto imprisoned fighters on hungerstrikeand Stella Antoniou.

Our brothers from prison threwthe hatchet of war. It’s in our hands tostick it in the heads of our enemies orto bury it deep in the ground. There isno time for hesitation; every minutebrings a brother closer to death. …We must make the colourful flower ofsolidarity blossom in the dark world ofresignation and misery. With a deepbreath we shall show our steel bite.Make every fucking suit and everyuniformed scum wet their pants, burnthe cars of the prison guards, thehouses of the cops and the judges. ...With mechanisms of sabotage andcounter-information we shall transformevery moment into a reason for action.... Let’s blow the terror into the wholeauthoritarian pyramid. Let’s invade thelives of those who have eyes and seeand ears to hear. Open call to a cycle

of sabotages. We call the groupsand communities of direct action toan exacerbation of the attack inevery way, with all means. 26 April, Thessaloniki, Greece - Latein the evening, a group of comradesmade an unannounced intervention inthe new city hall; they stormed thecity council chamber (at the time, theorganizing process for the ThessalonikiEuropean Youth Capital 2014 wasbeing held), chanted slogans such as‘The passion for freedom is strongerthan all prisons’, threw fliers all overthe place, shared out leaflets andunfolded two solidarity banners for allrevolutionary prisoners on hungerstrike.

26 April, Athens, Greece - A sound-system PA gathering was held in theuniversity campus of Zografou, whichincluded distribution of thousands ofsolidarity texts and leaflets, flypostingand chants for all combative impris-oned hunger strikers. Also that day, agroup of comrades, who were sharing

out texts for the anarchistsSakkas, Mitroussias andKaragiannidis at the Court ofAppeals, were bullied by largepolice forces. The comradesreported the incident with rageand noted that the silencing of theanarchists’ hunger strike inKorydallos prisons, the torturesduring hunger strike (placing foodon a 24hr time base next tohunger strikers), the falsification ofmedical tests, as well as theparticular repressive attempt atthe Court of Appeals, which aimedat blocking not just one of themany solidarity actions acrossGreece, but by also a series ofsimilar incidents, show clearly theState’s choice of policy. In thecurrent systemic crisis, the maskof democracy has fallen, and thesystem’s totalitarianism makesovert its appalling appearance.

27 April, Mytilini, Lesvos Island,Greece - Solidarity and anti-election short broadcast for theanarchist imprisoned hungerstrikers. A solidarity initiative ofcomrades intervened and inter-rupted the 9.30pm main newsbulletin on the corporate localchannel ‘TV Mytilini’, whichtransmits over Lesvos, Chios,Lemnos islands. The bannerreads:‘STOP STARING – EVERY-ONE TO THE STREETS!’ Thefirst screened text is by StellaAntoniou. Christos Tsakalos’ voiceis heard during the featured audiomessage. The second screenedtext is the 9/4 declaration by CCFimprisoned members and TheofilosMavropoulos, stating they willgradually join the hunger strike.Posters, stickers and bannerscome from various solidarityactions (from Athens, Thessaloniki,Igoumenitsa, to the city ofMytilini), while listed on air are thevarious direct actions in Greeceand the world, to indicate thebreadth of the solidarity.

CCF Court Statementread by MichalisNikolopoulos

CCF imprisoned member MichalisNikolopoulos read the followingpolitical statement on the 13th day(Monday, April 2, 2012) of the 2nd‘Halandri’ Case trial of the RO-Conspiracy of Cells of Fire. The statement concerns thedestructive attack by the CCF againstthe home of Gerasimos Arsenis.

2/4/12

Gerasimos Arsenis is a recognizedofficer of authority. In his long politicalcareer he has served as minister ofEconomics, Defence and Education, while he has also run for the leadershipof PASOK. In a few words, across fromus is a person of power whose deci-sions contributed to the formation oftoday’s reality. No one can forget theinfamous “Arsenis law” which showedonce more, that schools are nothingmore than intensive laboratories ofserene and trained subjects.

Institutionalised education is a struc-tural value for the system of authority. Its role is a node for the manipulationand construction of consciences of theyoung people… It is the second linkafter family in the chain of submission, which basically teaches the smoothintegration of the individual into thesocial factory of authority. But Arsenicknows very well that insubordination, disobedience, the insurrection does notsit at desks, does not fit in class rooms, does not accept indications. The timewhen he served as minister (of educa-tion) and attempted to realize his law,he met the total black refusal of manytroublemakers of the school community.

We could say a lot also about the restof the actions Gerasimos Arseniscarried out as a institutional politicalofficer. But its time to get to thesubstance. We did not attack Arsenis,Hinofotis or Katseli for their politicalwork they produced in the past.We attacked their choice to includethemselves in the structures of politicalauthority which is one of the foundingstones of the authoritarian socialmachine. We did not attack the symp-tom, but the illness.

8

The austerity measures, the economiccrisis, the increase in oppression, thechanges in education, the economicpoverty is nothing more than symptomsof the illness called Democracy.

An illness which brings the existentialpoverty which flourishes in themetropolises of the modern westernworld, and the main role of which is tofunction as a cover-up of themonstrous machine of capitalism.Because like our organization hadwrote in the communique whichfollowed the hit on parliament:“Capitalism is the boss and democracyis the public spokesperson. We are notnaïve to think that three hundred‘chosen ones’ are in charge on theirown in reality. Obviously they are thebalance managers, the suppliers ofstate checks, the ‘honourable ladiesand gentlemen”.

This is why as an Anarchist Revolution-ary Organization had mentioned manytimes in the past that we do not seek abetter democracy. On the contrary,we fight democracy just like we fightevery authority system. With ourweapons we aim at the expressers ofdominance, while at the same time withour speech we apply intense critiqueon every behaviour which reproduces, conserves and perpetuates the exist-ence of the authoritarian society.

We spread the new nihilism, anarcho-individualism, in the Greek territory, aswell as worldwide through the InformalAnarchist Federation and theInternational Revolutionary Front.

The new nihilism which will Exterminatethe expressers of the system, will raisethe individual from the values ofsubmission, apathy, consumption ofwage slavery, the whole spectrum ofbehaviours located in the larger part ofthe social total.

The behaviours of compromise, misery, the vanity of a silent crowd. A crowdwhich has learnt how to fall in love withwindow shopping, changing their moodwith the TV remote, blaming everyoneelse without ever looking in the mirrorand seeing their responsibilities for theworld they built and conserve.

A crowd that only know how to shoutwhen their economic interests are atstake, without even looking at thesubstance. The substance for real free

life. A life guided by the values ofrespect, solidarity, friendship, understanding.

The creation of an anarchistculture which will toss away everyform of authority from everyhuman relationship.

These things sound and are in thedistance.

But on the paths we take we willremain intolerant in every battle, prouder than ever. Our day willcome and until the completion ofour target we

Will Fight,Will Fight,Will Fight.

Because we know, just like you do,that insurrectionist anarchy is andwill be the internal enemy of theregime. So you should be sure, allyou modern inquisitors of thejudicial mafia that no matter howmany years you share out throughyour court-martials, you will neverbe able to imprison the ideas ofthe Anarchist Revolution and youwill never be able to imprison theC.C.F.

Because a stream of ideas cannever be imprisoned.

Brief communique:

As anarchists of a nihilisttendency, we vindicate revolution-ary action as a tool for ourpolitical-emancipatory project, wepropose subversive urban guerrillawar as a form of struggle in thestreets spaces, likewise to gainterritory in our lives, in the face ofthe control of the authoritarianState.

We are revolutionary anarchistswho reject and disregard the ranksof classic anarchism, likewise wereject the ancient strategy (an endin itself) of the accumulation offorces. We break with the oldschemas and -isms, and wefunction by means of our inqui-etude and our personal I (whichwe temper with collective labor inorder to accomplish according tovital goals, this being a falseproblem and not a contradiction atall).

As youth, uprooted with expecta-tions of wanting to free ourselves,we not only see our enemy incapitalism and the State, we alsosee it in the humanizing values ofsociety, in its defense of theindefensible, therefore, we alsoseek to dis-articulate it. We arethe uncontrollables, those whogive free reign to socio-politicaldestruction, those who see in theprecarious and wild youth, in theimmigrant youth and youth oflower social class, the destabiliz-ing explosion adequate for disman-tling the bosses’ world and toentomb the State, we seeadequate capacity for creating atension of civil-revolutionary warby means of the tactic of theanarchist urban guerrilla and theconflict between the oppressiveState and the revolutionary youth. We are working for the articulationof a constant influence in our

spaces of the streets, that can createthe situation of socio-political waragainst civilization, of razingcapitalism’s schemes to the ground, without any consideration.

We want to forge a generation of wildyouth, disposed to destroy the city andthe capitalist economy. From theBarcelona suburbs, we make a call tothe rest of the youth for you to assumethe nihilist branch of anarchism, toinvestigate your perceptions and tounite, under a black anti-authoritarianfist. Let’s subvert the old order. Let’s gobeyond.

Reciprocal solidarity:Although at the time the actions didnot have a concrete spirit of solidarityfrom the start and only sought tospread revolutionary action and revolt,we want to change the initial plan andto dedicate all of these actions (exceptthe solidarity of April 6 with StellaAntoniou) to Gerasimos Tsakalos,Panagiotis Argyrou, Christos Tsakalos,Giorgos Karagiannidis, AlexandrosMitroussias, and Kostas Sakkas who atthis time have started a hunger strike.Comrades, we send you a raised fistand a fervent revolutionary greeting.

Communique:

THE CITY OF THE BOMBS WILLBURN AGAIN

From religion, modern art, socialrelations, so-called “national culture”,traditions, to historic architecture, buildings, values and bourgeoismorality, to the way we talk andconnect with others, to the workingday which is based on the Gregoriancalender -in a bid to extract thehighest productivity of labour-, to thechronological composition of popularfestivals (victories of ruling classhistory), we understand that everythingis influenced by the capitalist order, every corner of this is evident in thelack of ideals in this gray and deadsociety, from the largely evidentsubmission (at gunpoint) of capitalistsociety. The impossibility of anysocially cohesive mass uprising by themajority of the hegemonic system isestablished in sleeping consciousness, and it seems paramount to destroyauthoritarian relationships and dis-mantle their values. You cannotphysically escape the clutches ofCapital and the State, as well as theirpolice and slave society (becausenothing is white or black, we don’t seeonly an evil system, but also theconsent given to it). The leftist allegedopposition schemes reproduce thevalues imposed from above and makesthe wheel feeding back its failure of“praxis”. Sexual liberation is thesponsorship of multinational corpora-tions and an alternative you find soldin large fashion chains.

The mandarins of social harmonyspeak of self-perfection, seeking toput every person in their place in thisrotten world, to understand, tolerateand humanize a political-economicorganization consistently violent, as isthe State, using war for re- economicorganization… and who waive thesebasic pillars of civilization, is sociologi-cally defeated and locked in prisons.

Given all this, we have emergedspontaneously bringing biopolitical

11

emancipatory expectations, poor youthtoday, because we are the mainvictims of this dystopia, because wehave nothing to lose. We have beendeceived by the authoritarian andcontradictory social project of capital-ism, which promised a little stability, plastic happiness, fame, wealth, andgave us instead, neglect, deprivation, misery, boredom and social misery. This has meant that in recent decades, young people without security, uncon-trolled and subversive have been theprotagonists and instigators of riotsdemonstrating that during the currenttwist of capitalism, this is the properobjective analysis to advocate thedestruction of the system. For us, thekey figure in the revolution is thedestructive amorality of the youngvandal. For us, our comrades are theones that that instead of occupyingtheir schools and spouting reformistproclamations, decide to destroy theclassrooms and burn the books. For us,our comrades are young offenders, youth gangs and criminal groups in apsychological exercise acquiring aposition of social war against thetotalitarian system. Hooded-up strug-gling against authority, trying to burn it.Our comrades are those revolutionaryanarchists, those who hate authority, whose friendship has no limits. Wehave nothing to lose, do not havedreams, so we are dangerous.

The tension and conflict on our streetshas continued to increase, the revolu-tionary struggle and power, with itscriminal code, tries to fight back.

Sabotage is judged as futile terrorismand its perpetrators are accused ofbelonging to armed groups. They aretrying to extinguish the flame andscare comrades away… Efforts havebeen stepped up in the form of wavesof attacks, it stands up to their repres-sion and shows we’ll not abide by theirauthority. … These days every day, young vandals, we answer your fearwith the radicalization of our practice,to raise an opposition in the streets …all this to lead to more radical condi-tions, with the participation of all thecomrades, this involves a revolutionarycivil war between the police state andyoung fighters. The welfare state isdead, the fighting has resumed andthis time, the “admired fighters inbalaclavas and military clothing, weapons experts and equipped with

Kalashnikovs” are not acting, so,not like protagonist-organizationslike ETA, GRAPO or FARC, theprotagonists are these youngsavages, problematic, uprooted, these young people from ethnicminorities and lower socialclasses, in a nihilistic-revolutionarycry who began to open their eyes.

No sophisticated weapons, butwith the character of spontaneityand related informal relation-ships… and that’s what reallyscares the powerful, the fear thatwas given to Sarkozy in the riotsof the suburbs of Paris, like thefear Karamanlis was given in theriots in Exarchia and like the feargiven to Cameron, the BritishPrime Minister, from the powerfulyoung people of Tottenham. Andso, we appeal to all the youngpeople in the poorer classes, tojoin us with stones in their handsand smelling of gasoline, to makethe streets, squares and parks, aplace of cohesion, correlation ofattack and emancipation of ourconcerns.

The Catalan government and thecentral government talk about thedisappearance of all the peoplewho fight back, they make laws towipe us off the map and that onlymakes the voltage rise: they forceus to organize ourselves betterand become more effective. Theseidiots will receive a political defeatin their “war against the violent.”Rubber bullets, tear gas, theinvention of shit martial-law,tortures at the police station inLes Corts, creation of a policestate, closed borders, whilst theirworkers are protected and hidetheir identities… See their reac-tion when children ages 13, 14,15 & 16 years burn their homes, their offices, their possessions.

We are not the resistance, wehave nothing to preserve, nothingto resist the neoliberal onslaught, economic conditions automaticallyand systematically enslaved us,therefore we have nothing tosafeguard as resistance, however,we anarchists-nihilists attack thisas urban guerrillas. There are noimages of the future, do not knowthe future which does not exist,

neither remember the past, becausewe hate it… we reject it all.

We join with all elements of struggle,to meet the young criminals whoacquire positions of conflict againstthe system, focusing their angeragainst the bourgeois structures, withthe children of immigrants constantlydisobeying authority of the Westernworld. We seek to create incendiarymeetings, informal and uncontrolled, who conspire against the world of therich. In all, we want to organize therage in suburbs and neighborhoodsand have the ability to spreadrevolutionary action.

As an anarchist praxis, we focus ourproject on the social threat andrevolutionary nihilism.

To the horror, the censorship andrepression, we respond with thestress of the attacks.

THE NEIGHBOURHOODS ANDSTREETS BELONG TO US, GETOUT STATE OCCUPATION FORCESAND URBAN MURDERERS.AUTHORITY IS SHIT!

Mutual solidarity:

These actions are dedicated to allthose in the [general] strike on March29 who were attacked, arrested, imprisoned, judged and beaten. Andthis is also dedicated to all thefighters who struggle internationallyin the war for freedom. Returning thewarm greeting we sent and receivedwith honor, to the brothers-comradesof the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire :Christos Tsakalos and DamianoBolano. To the bosses, wooden-headed-pigs, bankers, journalists, fascists: This is for you.

Against the show-trial of Eat &Billy, proud members ofLong-Live Luciano TortugaCell / FAI-IRF (Indonesia)We received word that the sixth trial of thecomrades of Billy Augustan and ReyhardRumbayan (Eat) was held on Tuesday, April17, 2012 in the same place, the DistrictCourt of Lahore. The trial began after beingdelayed for two hours with the reading of thedemands of the Public Prosecutor. Through itschairman Wiwik Triatmini, read the charges inthe form of demand for imprisonment for 3years with a reduced prison term.

A previous session of the show-trial showedthat the State and Capital want to force theAnti-Terrorism Act as a tool of repressionagainst the rise of a new generation ofanarchist urban guerrilla in Indonesia, underthe name of Revolutionary Organization –Informal Anarchist Federation, IndonesianSection. However, both combatants are nowbeing considered guilty of an arson attackagainst BRI’s ATMs in – Jogjakarta onOctober 7, 2011. Both are considered guiltyof a deliberate act that resulted in a public orprivate property being set on fire and explo-sion. In the indictment, the prosecutor basedhis claim on the results of the investigationconducted by the police as evidenced by adossier, but the only proof the police have isthat Billy was arrested in possession of theresponsibility claim/ leaflets, at the scene ofthe action, while Eat is accused of being theflyer-maker and duplicator. Eat & Billy proudlytook responsibility for the action as the Long-Live Luciano Tortuga Cell – InformalAnarchist Federation – International Revolu-tionary Front, declaring the action as a flameof solidarity to injured anarchist-insurrectionistLuciano Tortuga, who is imprisoned in Chilefor an attack against Santander Bank

The lawyer who is appointed to stand next toour brothers Eat & Billy, declared in the trialthat the State ignored the law itself by it’sdenial to call the [so-called Anti-Terrorism’]expert and to listen to his statement. Thereason behind this clearly is another form ofState repression because the judges knewthat the expert will give a statement whichthat can put aside all the fabricated “publicopinion” why our brothers must be accusedwith the Anti-Terrorism Act.

Our brother, Billy also stated that the interro-gators used violence to get the informationfrom him. That all the statements signed byhim is done caused by pressure by the pigs.He also said that the capture of himselfshowed the truth of his choice, it shows thatthe State (and all the tools it has) just haveone single mission: to protect Capital.

Accordingly, our brother Eat made astatement that his capture by the Stateis “illegal” in the view of their own lawsbecause the pigs came and capturedhim without the right paperwork. Heshowed clearly how tragic is the Stateand the misery of life under it. But hedeclared that he never wants to betrapped in the logic of laws or otherssimilar. Eat stated that his choicealways followed by consequences. That’s why he claimed the action andproudly stated he is a member of LongLive Luciano Tortuga Cell – InformalAnarchist Federation, IndonesianSection.

Urgent health update for Billy:

Last year in June 2011, Billy was in amotor accident. He was admitted tothe hospital with a fractured skull andconcussion. He left the hospital after 3days because of misdiagnosis and poormedical treatment. After leaving thehospital he saw a specialist who statedhe appeared to be alright but toIMMEDIATELY seek medical attentionfrom a specialist if he was to have anysymptoms or pain later. Now, for 2-3weeks Billy has complained of frequentand severe headaches. He is alsoexperiencing blurred vision and extremepressure build-up, and his neck losescirculation from time to time. Due tothese symptoms he’s having greatdifficulty sleeping, writing, reading andseeing, and they seem to be gettingrapidly worse as time goes by. And likeall of us knew that the medical care inprison is a nightmare…

That’s why we call an internationalsolidarity and donation to help Billy.

Thanks in advance for all your supportand help. Any and all donations will godirectly to these medical expenses. Formore information or updates on hiscondition please contact:[email protected]
