PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION REGISTRATION
Registration is currently open for the 2018-2019 Parish School of Religion school year. Our PSR program provides formal Catholic religious education (Pre K to 8) for children from Holy Trinity, Our Lady of Pres-entation & All Souls Parishes who attend Pub-lic School. PSR Sessions are on Monday eve-nings Sept. through May from 6:30-8:00pm.
Our program continues and supplements the religious formation from parents, who are the first teachers of their children, in the ways of the faith. We assist families in the areas of knowl-edge of the faith, beliefs, Christian life skills, re-ligious practices, and strengthening their grow-ing relationship with Jesus and His Church.
Sacramental Preparation (1st Reconcilia-tion, 1st Communion [2nd Grade] and Confirma-tion [8th Grade]) is a two year program.
***It is important for parents of students in 1st grade to begin their preparation this year in order to receive 1st Communion next year
in 2nd Grade. Confirmation Preparation begins in 7th Grade with the Sacrament
celebrated in 8th Grade.
For more information on the program, please contact Deacon George at:
[email protected] or 426-8966 ext. 32 For registration, please contact Ruth Reimer:

LATIN AMERICA APOSTOLATE
This weekend is the collection of the Latin America Apostolate! Please prayerfully consider supporting this collection, which strengthens our faith and community with our brothers and sisters in Bolivia through the work of our archdiocesan missionaries.
Your support is bringing the Gospel and invaluable resources to people who might not otherwise have access to pastoral care or church programs.
Our missionaries can only do what we make possible through our prayers and our sacrifices.
Please be generous in the collection for the Latin America Apostolate of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. ~ Thank You ~

SAVE THE DATE THE “40 YEARS OF HARMONY” CONCERT
Saturday, October 13th - Parish Hall
Please put this on your calendar now, and get word out to your family members, especially those who attended All Souls School during the Seventies and Eighties. Mr. Jim Ford and Mr. Steve Galati will be in concert together in the Parish Hall of All Souls Church on the evening of Saturday, October 13, 2018, celebrating “40 YEARS OF HARMONY TOGETHER!”
Mr. Ford and Mr. Galati met at our parish when both joined the faculty of All Souls School back in the late seventies. Their common love for music bonded them, creating a duo that performed at weddings, festivals, anniversary parties, religious services, bars, coffee houses, street parties, dances, and numerous other events and venues all over town.
The influences of many types of music are reflected in the repertoire that Steve and Jim have built together over these last forty years. They have been back to All Souls, playing at several Annual Parish Festivals in the past. Their association is stronger than ever, and they would like to return to the crowd and the place where it all started. All Souls parishioners, former school students, and faculty members of All Souls who can be reached are all invited.
A night of music, fellowship, fun, and nostalgia await you. Proceeds for this event are earmarked to fight cancer and homelessness. Admission will be $20 per person and includes soda and snacks. Concert seating will be provided on a “first come, first served” basis. Several special guests will be joining Harmony on stage. More details and information on the sale of tickets will be published soon.
Don’t miss this limited engagement with Harmony! Get your classmates, friends, and families together to hear and see this special concert by two gifted gentlemen and enjoy a most memorable evening!

USCCB CALL TO PRAYER TO PROTECT THE UNBORN IN LAW
Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Chair of the USCCB Committee on Pro-life Activities has called for prayer that, with the retirement of Justice Anthony Kennedy, we will soon see a day when every human life is protected in law. Cardinal Dolan is asking all people of good will to join him in an effort of prayer that this change in the US Supreme Court will move our nation closer to the day when every human being is protected in law and welcomed in life! From Friday, August 3, 2018 to Friday, September 28, 2018, the weekly Call to Prayer will be adapted as a nine-week Novena for the Legal Protection of Human Life. In addition to the current invitation to fast on Fridays, participants are encouraged to pray one Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be for the intention of the novena.
