Installation
1. Removelowersettingdial.Setallfourtappetstotopofupperdial.Unscrew4BAscrewandremoveoutercase.
2. Slackentwoscrewssecuringplug-inmoduletobackplateandseparatemodulefrombackplatebypullingupwards.
3. Fixbackplatetowall(3holefixing).
4. Referringtowiringdiagramsbelowandoppositemakeelectricalconnectionsasshown(asapplicable).Thediagramsindicatethatterminals3and5arenotinternallyconnectedtotheprogrammerandmaythereforebeusedassparewiringterminalsifrequired.
5. EaseofinstallationcanbeachievedbytheuseoftheDanfossRandallWiringCentrewhichisobtainablefrommostBuildersMerchantsandDistributors.
NOTE: If a Wiring Centre is used follow the installation instructions included with that unit and not the following wiring diagrams.

The3060programmerallowsyoutoswitchyourhotwaterandheatingonandoffattimesthatsuityou.
Fourtappetsonthetimingdialletyoudecidewhenyouwantyourhotwaterandheatingtocomeonandgooffeachday.Theprogrammerprovides2ONtimesand2OFFtimesperday.
UsingthelowerdialyoucanchoosehowyoucontrolyourHeatingandHotWater,eitheratthesettimes,constantlyON,constantlyOFF(eachindifferentcombinations).Duringthesummerthecentralheatingcanbeturnedoff,whilststillcontrollingthehotwateratthesettimes.

TherearefourTAPPETSonyourtimingdial,tworedandtwoblue: o the redtappetsaretheON switches
o the bluetappetsaretheOFF switches
1. Holdthecentralblack&silverknobwithonehandandmovetheredtappetmarked‘A’clockwise to thetimeyouwantyourHEATING/HOTWATERtoswitch oninthemorning.
NB.youmayfindthetappetsquitestiff,soyoumay
havetopushthemquitefirmlytomovethem.

2 Stillholdingthecentralknob,movethebluetappet marked‘B’tothetimeyouwantyourHEATING/HOT WATERtoswitchoffinthemorning.
3 Youcansetyourothertwotappetsinthesameway tosetyourHEATING/HOTWATERfortheafternoon orevening.
EXAMPLE (NB.Clockisin24hourmode) IfyouwantyourheatingandhotwaterONbetween 7amand10amandONagainbetween5pmand 11pm,settappetsasfollows:

o Turnthedialclockwise until the correct time is lined up with the dot labelledTIME
NB.clockisin24hour mode
REMEMBER You will have to reset the time after a power cut and also when the clocks change in Spring and Autumn!

Using the Programmer
Theselectorswitchisusedtoselecthowthe3060controlsyourhotwaterandheating.Theheatingandhotwatercanbeoperatedtogetherinvariouscombinations,orthewatercanbecontrolledonitsown(i.e.duringthesummerwhenonlyhotwaterisrequired).
Therearesixpositionsintowhichtheselectorswitchmaybeset.
1 - H OFF / W OFF BothHeatingandHotWaterwillremainOFFuntilyou
changethesetting.
2 - H TWICE / W TWICE InthispositiontheHeatingandHotWaterwillboth
comeonandgooffaccordingtothetimesyouhaveprogrammed(ONatA,OFFatB,ONatC,OFFatD).
3-H ONCE / W ONCE ThissettingoverridestappetsBandC,soboth
HeatingandHotWaterwillswitchONatthetimemarkedbytappetAandwillstayonuntilthetimemarkedbytappetD.BothserviceswillthenswitchOFFuntil‘A’thenextday.

accordingtothetimesyouhaveprogrammed(ONatA,OFFatB,ONatC,OFFatD).
TheHotWaterwillcomeonatAandstayonuntilD.
6 - H OFF / W TWICE InthispositiontheHeatingwillbepermanentlyOFF
andtheHotWaterwillcomeonandgooffaccordingtothetimesyouhaveprogrammed(ONatA,OFFatB,ONatC,OFFatD).
Note:
If hot water is required all day with the heating shut off (i.e. heat off, water once)
o Turntheselectorswitchto‘Htwice/Wonce’and turndowntheroomthermostattoitslowest setting.
If constant hot water is required with heating off (i.e. heat off, water on)
o Turntheselectorswitchto‘Hon/Won’andturn theroomthermostattoitslowestsetting.
