SRK Consulting offers an integrated geology andresources team which provides a strong commercialfocus on understanding ore systems.

SRK believes that the most important aspect in anyevaluation or assessment of a mineral project is thedetailed understanding of the underlying geologicalmodel. The geological model is used by SRK asthe framework on which all subsequent resourceestimation parameters are based, and to which allresults are checked. The combined Geology &Resources Unit within SRK takes care of all structuralgeological assessments and the translation of thegeological parameters into resource estimation. TheUnit ensures that all relevant mining parameters areused in the resource estimation or simulation at therequired level of detail. Geophysical techniquesare used in the evaluation of projects wherepossible extensions to the delineated and drilled-outorebody need to be quantified.
