Jamboree is the pinnacle Girl Guide event in Australia, held every three years in a different state. Hosted by Girl Guides NSW & ACT at Newington Armory, Sydney Olympic Park, the 2018 Sydney Jamboree builds upon a great Guiding tradition of bringing girls and young women aged 10 – 17 years from across Australia and beyond together for a week of camping, adventure and friendship.

Over 1500 girls and adults will take part in an innovative, relevant and high-quality program that will challenge them to do their best in a supportive and caring environment. They will have the opportunity to grow and connect with Guides from across the country and return home with memories that will last a life time, having gained skills to apply in their community with a better understanding of themselves, other people and a wider world.

With over 22,000 members nationwide, Girl Guides is Australia’s leading organisation for girls and young women in leadership and personal development. We aim to empower girls and young women to grow into confident, self-respecting and responsible community members. Girl Guides is a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity, built on volunteer leadership and management.
