• Some organizations gives a percentage of their registration fees to their partnering organization

• One way to raise enough money for your own organization is to set a registration fee high enough to cover your costs

• However, your registration fee should not be so high that it deters participants from signing up

• Making sure you know what your event costs will be will help you determine a good registration fee number

Sponsorships

• Sponsors are receptive to supporting a charity event

• Get your sponsors to help with t-shirts, food, printing, and advertising to save money

• Ask local businesses to donate food items in exchange for advertisement

• This allows you to gain more money for you and your charity since your event costs will be lower

Volunteers

• It is easy to find people to help keep your charity event organized

• Many charity organization members, local community members, and even your own organization’s members should be willing to help out

• This will save you money so that you don’t need to hire outside people to manage the event
