Innovative startups that can benefi t from our assets and vast experience, which includes raw material production, processing, manufacturing of components and automa-tion in large-scale production. Startups from all over the world, preferably Europe, are welcome to apply.

FASTTRACK is all about joint projects. Besides matching technology fi elds, an idea and common ground for a joint project form the basis for cooperative project work. We as partners need to have the right skills and production capacities, whereas you need to have at least a prototype or working product, ready for use in large-scale production.

After the deadline FASTTRACK representatives will screen your applications and send out invitati-

ons for the Pitch Day.

Approximately 10 startups will be selectedto start collaborating on a project with one or multiple partners. The time prior the offi cial project kickoff will be used to defi ne the pro-ject milestones together with the responsible

business unit.

During the project phase we will provi-de you with at least

one on-premise coaching session in Landsberg am Lech. The topics cover cri-tical know-how in large scale hardware

manufacturing.

If you are among the 20 startups which showed the best ideas, you will be in-vited to the FASTTRACK Pitch Day in Landsberg am Lech. Here you will have the chance to persuade executives from all three partners in person, why they should work together

with you.

Make sure to sub-mit your application through our website by

September 8, 2019.

Let the work begin. The kickoff marks the offi cial start of the pilot projects. In the following four months you will work in close cooperation with your business unit to achieve the predefi ned milestones. All partners and startups in the batch will kick off the months ahead with a social event to foster mutual exchange and

networking.

Time to show what you have achieved with FASTTRACK. You will present the results of our common project to the top-management and deci-sion makers from all three

partners.

Regional FocusAvailability of Capacity Product MaturityCollaboration on intense three-month joint projects works best, when stakeholders can regularly meet on-premise to inspect and in-stall relevant equipment. You can be located worldwide, but should have the time and me-ans to travel to our FASTTRACK headquarter in Landsberg am Lech, where the Pitch Day and Demo Day will be held.

We expect you to conduct the project with the necessary professionalism, which inclu-des investment of time, budget and personal resources from both parties - us partners and yourself. In a fi rst instance, you should be able to nominate a project team which is available from January until April 2019 to execute the joint project.

Your product or service should match the tech-nology focus areas. Furthermore, it should have a certain level of maturity - at least a functional prototyp ready for testing or implementation in large-scale production.

FAQ

Do we take equity?Simple answer - No.

Must I move to the premises of the chosen partner?No, but if you wish the possibility exists to occupy office space or premises at the partner. The miminum requirement is however,

that you attend the four events and that you are onsite as often as your project requires to ensure its success.

Where do the events take place?The events take place at Ceravis, the home base of the FASTTRACK program, in Landsberg am Lech approximately 45km to the south west of Munich.

Which events are you talking about?By events we mean the four on-premise sessions: The project kickoff with all startups and involved partners, two training sessions and finally the Demo Day.

Is there a project budget?

How does the order process work?You send us an all-inclusive offer once the project has been defined. We then send you an order based on your offer. Being family owned companies,

this process is faster and less complicated than is the case with corporates of similar size.

How does the cooperation in the project phase work?Initially, the project is jointly defined between yourself and the selected partner. A project plan with milestones and desired

deliverables is then agreed upon. A responsible person from your side and the partner will be defined. In addition to this, a mentor from the operative unit, in which the project will take place, will be assigned to you to facilitate the contact

between you and the other specialists in the business unit to aid in the successful execution of the project.

What opportunities do I have after the program?Everything is possible, but there are no commitments. Hirschvogel, HOERBIGER and Max Aicher are essentially results orientated and future

opportunities would depend mainly on the outcome of the project work. Possible cooperation is very variable and can take form of anything between future supplier/customer relationships, production partner, and could even go as far as the partner purchasing equity in your company.

The form and extent of any future cooperation will depend on the results of the project and on mutual interests and requirements.

What function do the various partners have in this consortium?Hirschvogel, HOERBIGER and Max Aicher will create the ideal framework for the envisaged project and are in addition to this, responsible for

the definition of the project. Ceravis is responsible for the coordination of the projects and manages the FASTTRACK program. Munich Network is contracted to the program and supports us with the scouting activities.

Yes for sure! We will contribute an appropriate amount to help cover the traveling costs and other project relevant costs, which you have. In addition, you will receive in kind support which is difficult to measure in Euro, but can be extremely valuable for a startup.

Therefore we don’t announce a fixed Euro grant, but there will be an individual binding commitment before collaboration starts. In order to start the collaboration with you shortly after the Pitch Days, there will be no complicated and lengthy process to provide this budget
