1. Models

We learn not only by the role models we have around us, but also from their absence. It is in us to evolve and transcend the patterns that we are shown and taught in the same way that it is in us to learn from what isn’t present, but which we also need to grasp to move on to become our best self.

2. IntegrityMy father had lots of what I understand as integrity. I once read that “integrity is what you do when no one is looking” and it stuck. Why? Because it rang true with who I am and with my values. It is a fool who lies to others but it is downright stupidity to lie to yourself. Having integrity for me is about being authentic. There are many things I have done that I feel good about and others that I don’t, but I make every last effort to understand the origins of those mistakes, of the needs behind the actions, and know that my mistakes are potentially the true masters of wisdom.

3. LoveLove is a fine balance, often better expressed by silence than with words, but it is also learning to give a voice to what is in my heart. I have learned to never give up on love and never give up on life, however hard the trial, however numerous the defeats. Always do your best and love will win the hardest of battles for love never ceases to triumph over all else.

I follow in the steps of a warrior who has helped my to find my own warrior within, without whom there would be no fire, no passion, no risks, no meaning. He has set me firmly and

lovingly on the “THE WAY OF THE SILENT WARRIOR”
