Gedung Merdeka, known as Asia-African Conference Museum Chinatown, feels the oriental touch in Bandung’s Chinatown, located along the

streets of Jalan Kelenteng and the adjacent Jalan Cibadak. It is a shopping and culinary attraction that gives you an authentic feel of an old Chinese settlement. Here, also provides a brief overview of how the Chinese first came to settle in this cool hill town.

Cihampelas Street, is an area where you can find many unique shops selling affordable locally made clothes. It is one the busiest shopping spots in Bandung. Various kind of clothing are available here. Cihampelas Walk Mall is also in the area, but the modern mall is not what you would call a budget shopping destination.

Cibaduyut Street, one of Bandung's most popular fashion spots, known as the center for leather shoes in Indonesia. Most products in Cibaduyut are handcrafted and locally made with good quality and durability.
