3. Open your browser and go to this link: http://192.168.8.1Choose your preferred language and set your master password. You will needthis password in the future, so be sure to have it saved or memorized.

4. If you already connected the router to the Internet via an ethernet cable youcan skip this step and proceed with step 6. If you want to configure therouter to use the Wi-Fi network, click on "Scan" as shown below.

7. Click on “More Settings” in the left menu and then choose “Advanced”. Anew tab will be opened in your browser.

8. The default user name is "root". In the password field type in the passwordyou configured in step 3. Then click "Login".

9. In the upper menu click on “System” and then choose “Software”.

10. Click on the “Configuration” tab.

11. Scroll down to “Custom feeds”. Delete everything in that field and pastethe whole line from below:

Then click “Submit”.

12. After that click on the "Actions" tab again.

13. Click on “Update lists” and wait.

14. In the field "Download and install package" enter: “chwebauth” (withoutquotes). Then click “OK”.

15. The image below is what you will see if the set up was done correctly. You can close this tab now.

16. Open a new tab in your browser and go to:https://secure.cryptohippie.com/files/gli.php

Enter your Client ID and VPN Password. Then click on the "Fast" button todownload the configuration file for the fast connection.

17. Go back to the GliNET Admin Panel tab. From the left menu click on “VPN”and choose “OpenVPN Client”. On that page choose “Add a New OpenVPNConfiguration”.

18. Click on "Select a file or drag it here" and mport the file you downloaded instep 16. Add a description for the configuration, which can be whatever youlike. Then click on "Submit".

19. Now that the VPN configuration is imported you can connect the router tothe VPN by clicking “Connect”. It might take a while for the router to connect.

20. In the left menu, click on “More settings”, and choose “Custom DNSServer”. Make sure "DNS Rebinding Attack Protection" is disabled. Then click"Apply".

21. Check your router and make sure that the switch marked in the imagebelow is switched to the left side.

22. In the same menu you've been using, choose "Button Settings". Make surethat the button on the router is switched to the left side before doing this. Fromthe drop down meny choose "OpenVPN Client Toggle (On/Off)". Then click "Apply".

23. In the left menu click on “Wireless”. Below the network information click on“Modify” and you will be able to change details about the network. We stronglysuggest you change the the Wi-Fi Name (SSID), and especially Wi-Fi key since“goodlife” is a default password for all GliNET routers.

24. Change your Wi-Fi name to anything you want and choose a strong Wi-Fikey for it. Wi-Fi key has to be at least eight charchters. And click "Apply".

25. Scroll down and repeat the same from above for the second Wi-Ficonnection.

26. Click on “Reboot”.

27. Click on “Yes”.

28. After reboot your VPN router is now ready to use. Please go to this link inyour browser: https://auth.cryptohippie.net and log in with your Client ID andpassword.

If you used LAN to configure the router you can stay connected to it, or if youwant to use it with Wi-Fi disconnect your computer from LAN and connect toone of the Wi-Fi networks you configured in step 23.

If you used Wi-Fi to configure the router, disconnect from that connection andconnect to one of the Wi-Fi networks from step 23.

You can connect additional devices to your VPN router by simply connecting them to its WiFI network or Ethernet ports. These devices will

be automatically protected as well.

The switch on the side allows you to enable or disable the VPN.

The middle LED/light on the router's front indicates if the VPN is connected and trasmitting data.

Furthermore you can always go to our website https://secure.cryptohippie.com to check if you are communicating

through the VPN. The bottom of that website will say "VPN: Connected" if you are.
