M. Tech. Thesis: Probabilistic Distribution of Substrings formed by Erroneous Transmission Jan’08 - till date

  Developing, first of its kind, error correcting codes based on the probabilistic distribution of the substrings formed

  Results would reduce error rate by 15% , thus enhancing voice quality and trimming ‘call drop’ in mobile telephony

Mathematical Modelling: Slot Distribution to companies coming for Campus Recruitment Jul’07 - Nov’07

  Formulated a mathematical model, adjudged best amongst 30 entries, to allot tentative slots to visiting companies

  Model achieved an accuracy of 94% against manual allocation and would help SPO to save 210 (85%) man hours

Effect of Subprime Mortgage Crisis on Stock Market Indices Jul’08 - Nov’08

  Analyzed the effect of subprime crisis on predictability and efficiency of NASDAQ, BSE, ATX, KLCI and Nikkei

  Established correlation between change in efficiency, sample entropy and Hurst Exponent during chaotic times

Bit Slot ALOHA Protocol for Tag Anti Collision in RFID Systems Jan’08- Apr’08

  Developed a stochastic scheme based protocol for tag identification, faster by 26% than the previous best scheme

Generation of truly random, equiprobable numbers with known Prime Factorization May’07 - Jul’07  Developed algorithms which led to 14% reduction in computational complexity of RSA (cryptographic scheme)
