Monday, May 110847 – A female is concerned

about continued harassment from

a man who lives in Billings. She tried to call the police department in Billings but they told her she has to report it locally. The caller stated the male has been harass-ing her and her husband for a while now.

1255 – A male reported a disabled motor vehicle in the

driving lane. There is a mini van with flashers behind the disabled vehicle but the flashers are barely visible. At 1306, a deputy pa-trolled all the way to MM 15 and back down to MM7, locating no disabled vehicle.

1944 – A reporting party called in stating they found a

baby fox along the road heading to their house. They hadn’t seen any fox for a couple of weeks and then this baby showed up. The fox baby is acting lethargic. The caller stated they would get a carrier and take the fox to her house until FWP could contact them. At 1950, FG advised he

was going to talk to the reporting party and let them know to just let the fox go as there is nothing that can be done since there is no place to take the animal.

1958 – A reporting party, who doesn’t want to be identified, is complaining about the neighbors on the next street over who are

keeping her up all night by drink-ing beer and popping the cans. She stated that when the neigh-bor runs out of beer, he leaves and gets more. Information was passed along and the area will be patrolled a few times during the

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Glasgow passed Resolution No. 3033 on May 18, 2020, call for bids from interested purchasers for the sale of Glasgow Police Department 2004 Dodge Intrepid/VIN# 2B3HD46V24H702194 with 100,826 miles, 2007 Chevrolet Trail Blazer/VIN# 1GNDT13S472277350 with 147,369 miles, 2009 Chevrolet Impala/VIN# 2G1WS57M991238658 with 100,000 miles, 1997 Chevrolet Monte Carlo/VIN# 2G1WW-12M3V9195998 with 194,875 miles, and 2010 Ford Explorer/VIN# 1FMEU7DE1AUA28355 with 95,718 miles, which are no longer neces-sary for the conduct of the City’s business. Said Police Department vehicles are being sold “as is” without warranty of any kind.

The minimum bid price which the City Council will consider for each Police Depart-ment vehicle is $500.00.

The City Council will accept sealed bids for the sale of the said vehicles until 5:00 p.m., MDT on Monday June 1, 2020, at theOffice of the City Clerk-Treasurer, in the lobby of the Glasgow Civic Center, 319 3rdStreet South, Glasgow, MT 59230. GASOLINE AND DIESEL FUEL, in accordance with the estimated quantities specified below, from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.

UNLEADED GASOLINE: Approximately 12,000 gallons.NO. 1 DIESEL FUEL: Approximately 5,000 gallons.NO. 2 DIESEL FUEL: Approximately 5,000 gallons.

All bids shall be considered on the basis of the total bid price per gallon including applicable state and federal taxes and state and federal fees or surcharges. Bids shall be submitted on the Fuel Bid Proposal Form available at the Office of the City Clerk in the Glasgow Civic Center.

The City of Glasgow no longer has storage facilities on site. All bids will have to have fuel availability on a 24 hour basis with a cardtrol system or similar.

Envelopes containing bids shall be marked “BIDS FOR GASOLINE AND DIESEL FUEL”, and shall be addressed to the City Council of the City of Glasgow, 319 Third Street South, Glasgow, Montana 59230.

Any bid submitted that reserves the right to pass onto the City future price increases in fuel over the term of the contract must also provide future price decreases for declining fuel prices. Such future price decreases shall be passed on to the City during the term of the contract.

Contract award for gasoline and diesel fuel will be made on the basis of the aggregate fuel costs in accordance with the total quantities specified for all of the above products. Separate contracts will not be awarded for the various fuel classifications.

The City Council of the City of Glasgow reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to accept any bid that appears to be in the best interests of the City of Glasgow.

dispatch called to notify that an elderly woman from Frazer went into their ER to be seen for a dog bite. No other information was available.

2047 – A disabled vehicle was reported. The driver has a vehicle that will help tow the truck to a safer place.

Tuesday, May 120044 – A vehicle is stopped in

the middle of the road. A male is asleep in the vehicle with alcohol containers in sight. RCSO was notified. At 0057 it was reported tribal has a male in custody, and the male is being transported to Poplar.

0811 – A male reported a deer that appears to have a broken leg. The deer was standing but its leg didn’t look right at all. The caller stated the deer is on the east side of Buggy Creek on the north side of the road as you are coming down the hill. Fish and Game office was notified.

1243 – A warrant was served on an inmate.

1336 – A male advised that he was headed from Nashua to Fort Peck where they are doing utility work along the side of the road. There are signs stating there are workers in the area but it doesn’t have any reduced speed signs. The male had slowed down and was passed by a white van com-ing down the hill from the inter-section of Hwy 117 and Tiger Butte Road. The male said the vehicle was going too fast with workers in the area and started passing him in the passing zone but finished in the no passing zone. He stated the person broke his windshield so he followed them and got them to stop. A photo was taken of the plate of the vehicle. The caller is willing to write out a statement if the officer needs it but more so he is worried about people not slowing down for the workers.

1337 – A VIN inspection is needed for a pontoon trailer.

1403 – A female called and stated there was a fire in a field just west of Glentana. Opheim Fire Department was paged. While paging the fire depart-ment, another call was received where the caller stated there was a combine on fire. At 1444, a female caller wanted to know if the company burning near Glentana has a burn permit and asked if they should be burning on a day like today. The caller was notified there is a fire west of Glentana and there are trucks out on it right now. The caller then proceeded to state the fire is near Glentana and is out of the field and into the ditch.

1540 – A deputy was informed that a male was at the detention

center and there is a warrant to be served to him.

Wednesday, May 130957 – A male advised some-

one sideswiped his vehicle in front of his house. He said he parked at around 0200 and was okay, however when he went to work this morning, he found the vehicle has dents and scrapes along the side of it. An officer was notified.

1422 – An alarm from Simply Safe reporting a residential fire alarm. The owners of the resi-dence were provided and were at-tempted to be reached. Fort Peck Fire and Long Run were paged.

It was determined the fire was a stove fire but it is under control, all responding units were told to stand down.

1438 – Mountain Alarm re-ported receiving a duress alarm. An officer advised he is in the area and will respond. At 1446, it was determined everything is okay.

2321 – A reporting party called in and said he just had a couple of visitors and now his wallet and a watch is missing. He said the wallet had $28 to $30 in it but he’s more worried about the credit cards. He reported checking his house and pickup, but both items are gone. At 2331, it was reported the caller located his items.

Thursday, May 141139 – A call was received

from MHP Dispatch stating a pickup, ¾ ton, is pulling a wide load of some type of farm equip-ment. When this vehicle goes across a bridge it has to move into the middle of the highway and when it goes downhill, it goes 70 MPH and sways all over. There is no notification that this is coming towards drivers in the other lane. MHP would like this checked out. At 1210, a deputy advised he patrolled around and was unable to locate the vehicle. He even checked some of the farm equipment sale places in town.

1215 – A lot of smoke was reported in a building. At 1223, a male called in stating he has a small fire behind the wall by the electric furnace. He stated he was trying to get to it but was unable to. He was advised to exit the building as police and fire have been notified and they are on their way.

1250 – A male called in stat-ing he had purchased a parts car from a male last fall. He stated the agreement was if the weather was good he was going to come and get the car then but if it wasn’t he would come up in the spring. The caller paid for the car and says the male got the payment and even sent a Bill of Sale. The vehicle is up on blocks, no wheels on it and the top is crushed. He has been trying to get ahold of the male who sold the vehicle to him to pick up the vehicle but the phone number has been disconnected.

The caller would like an officer to go and see if the car is still there and if so, maybe the male could call him back or an officer could so the caller can obtain the vehicle. An officer told the caller he would attempt to help him but this is a civil issue.

1325 – A request from MHP was received to have a deputy respond as backup on a trooper’s stop in Hinsdale. He advised it can be non-code but he does have three subjects in the vehicle and he is running them for drug-related charges.

1639 – A male called in stating there is a kid riding a mini bike with no helmet, up and down the street and he is moving pretty fast. The caller is afraid the kid may get hit by a car. At 1651, an officer advised the subject shouldn’t be driving in the street anymore.

Friday, May 150015 – A deputy advised a

vehicle is off the road and not a hazard.

0546 – A reporting party called and said his vehicle broke down, but he would be getting it towed later this morning.

0817 – A female reported a tall thin man staggering onto the highway over the white line and appears to be impaired. A description of the male was provided.

1142 – A male called to report a male came onto the property and stole his cell phone and flexi-coil monitor for a sprayer out of his tractor. He stated these items are his property and the male had no right to take them. A deputy spoke with both parties and this is a civil issue.

1902 – A male called in to request a number for a locksmith as he has locked his keys in his pickup.

2023 – A male called in to report a possible drunk driver on a motorcycle. A description of the driver was provided. It was also stated the driver had a beer in his hand while driving.

2108 – A male called in re-questing an officer for a hit and run in the P-Lot of Albertsons. He states a female backed into an-other vehicle and took off. There are witnesses to the incident and it’s believed the tag of the vehicle was obtained.

Saturday, May 160035 – A deputy is assisting

McCone County with a report of a party out in the Flat Lake area.

0058 – A female reported she has a $20 bill that appears to be fraudulent as she tried to drop it and the safe wouldn’t take it. She checked with the marker and it came out bad. It’s unknown who passed it. An officer collected the bill and will do some more research.

0230 – Law enforcement is out with a vehicle with tail lights on to check that everything is okay.

1044 – A male called in stat-ing he got a call about 1035 from someone stating they were with Amazon security telling him their Amazon account has been fraudulently used by someone in Ohio who purchased merchan-dise on his account for $120. The male stated the other end of the phone call was a recording and they wanted him to press 1 to speak with a representative. The male stated he emailed Amazon and they told him this was a scam and his account is fine. Amazon also notified they would first email about a transaction, not call him. The caller wanted dispatch to be aware.

1656 – A female called in stat-ing a female backed into the light pole. There is a dent in the vehicle as well as the pole is creased.

2328 – A suspicious vehicle was reported. Everything is okay.

Sunday, May 170041 – A female reported a

loud horn or siren somewhere behind her place down by the tracks. The dispatcher reported hearing it over the phone. A deputy drove 42 and 24 around Highway 2 and down Brown Road and was unable to locate any sounds.

0946 – A reporting party called in about a semi that is in the westbound lane above the railroad tracks blocking traffic. There appears to be someone out around the truck but it’s unknown why it’s stopped there. When a deputy arrived in the area, the semi appeared to be moving and was no longer blocking traffic.

1723 – A reporting party

called to report his weed eater missing from under his stairs going up to his apartment. He states it was a $400 weed eater purchased from Markle’s. He has had a gas tank taken before but didn’t think much of it until he went to use the weed eater today.

2105 – A female wants an officer to come over. She is con-cerned that a guest, who owes $1,500, is getting packed up and word from other staff is that he can be violent. Per an officer, it’s a civil issue at this time.

2201 – A male reported a Ford Expedition whose driver might be drinking. The vehicle crossed the center line and is heading west. The caller is willing to sign a complaint if vehicle is found.
