Teacher to start lesson by explaining in simple terms the words 'singular' and 'plural'.2. Demonstrate meanings by using pupils, e.g. one boy, two boys, one girl, two girls. Can they hearthes at the end of these words?

3. Show the small card (A4 pdf) of letter 's' and explain that we need to put this at the end of wordsto show more than one.

4. Teacher calls out simple words and ask pupils to write the plural of that word on their individualwhiteboards.
