    VI. CONCLUSION

    1. The greatest number of respondents is single, female and 71% are residing in Alfonso Lista, Ifugao

    where the institution resides. Majority of the respondents chosen the institution due to its

    affordable tuition fee, reputation as an academic institution, reputation in the files of study and

    siblings and alumni are graduates of this institution.

    2. Most of the respondents are working in Private Firm such as Business Process Outsourcing and

    Telecommunications. Others works in Local Government units, Academic Institutions, private firm

    (multinational company) and some put up their own businesses. A small ration of the respondents

    are unemployed due to family responsibility, lack of work experience and job offered is not suitable.

    3. Majority of the employed graduated are on contractual/job order basis working as service worker,

    in academe, sales, trade and most of them in technical or associate job. There are some working in

    managerial level, supervisory, professional but majority is in rank or file.

    4. The longest span of time the graduates employment is 6 months to 1 year. Salaries and Benefits are

    the main reasons of the graduates in choosing their first job, followed by proximity to residence,

    related to special skills, least are family influence.

    5. In relevant to curriculum, problem solving skills is extremely helpful to the graduates, followed by

    the Information Technology skills, entrepreneurial skills, human relation skills and communication

    skills.

    VII. RECOMMENDATIONS:

    1. The Ifugao State University Potia Campus, Administrative and Academic Officials to organize seminars,

    symposium, lectures and trainings to the graduating students of the university focusing in finding jobs

    after college and through channeling to other departments of the government and other companies for

    helping the graduates finding their jobs after graduation and for professional growth.

    2. A job placement office in IFSU Potia Campus should be created to help graduates in their search for job

    vacancies and to enable them to make use of job fairs and other government employment agencies. An

    alumni information services center and information database system should be created to easily track

    the whereabouts of the graduates.

    3. The graduates should aim for reaching higher job position in their respective jobs, for them to be able to

    be honored that they are competing in the world of professionals with true excellence.

    4. The future researchers of the same study should have all the drive to trace the graduates in timely and

    systematically manner for them to arrive in a very satisfactory result and to include other variable of

    concerns such as perceive degree of efficiency and institutional methods and facilities; provisions of

    library and IT facilities, etc.; and correlations between socio biography and employment variables.

    D. PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED AND RECOMMENDATIONS

    The researcher did not encounter any problems in terms of technical and administrative because

    the research personnel is very supportive to us beginners in conducting research.
