India is the 10th largest economy in
the world.

• The Constitution of India was adopted on 26 January 1950. India is the largest democracy in the world with a federal government.

• The capital of India is New Delhi.
• As per census 2011, the provisional population of India is 1,21,05,69,573.

15.6% over same period of the previous year.
• As on December, 2017, e–Visa facility had been extended to the nationals
