Way ForwardWay Forward
Keeping Focused on Our Vision!Keeping Focused on Our Vision!• World Class Federation (Win off the field)
o We have to adopt a more professional style of managing our federation as a business o Increase our full-time staff capabilities but seek the best people to do the jobo Adopt a whole new way of how we do business and present ourselves, going as far a new identity!
• Finances (Make Money)o We have seen over 200 national and international companies and brands this past year. We have to continue
doing so as the market has shown interest and it’s a matter of time until some major deals are concluded. o The above, however, depends largely on how we manage ourselves and our business so as to create a strong
perception that netball is a good alternative investment opportunity.
• National Teams (Win on the field)o Set realistic targets for being consistently in the top 3 rankings in the world, in all age groupso To achieve this we need a consistent season with strong local competitions such as the NPLo Comprehensive season structure to allow for proper planning, 2 to 3 years in advance.o Improve on our High performance programmes, resources and talent identification initiatives o Pitch for 2019 World Cup and use this as a key end result target in achieving all key milestones.
• Grow and Developo Expose Netball as much as we can to the market with the live television platform availableo Ensure our Regions and stakeholders follow the same goals and targets as NSAo Continue with the coaching of coaches and umpires at all levels to ensure the growth and development of
our sporto Build netball heroes and our national team so as to allow for young aspiring players to want to do the same
