The 3rd Na�onal Virtual LIS Academy Conference LISACON-2020 on "Reinven�ng Excellence in Librarianship” invites academicians, Prac�cing Library Professionals, policy makers, and other stakeholders to send original research abstracts, case studies forma�ed according to the given format. The conference will be held from 27-30 August 2020.

Developing the Career Path of the Par�cipants:The goal of this conference is to con�nuously improve the standards of the LIS community of researchers, scholars, and scien�sts by exposing them to the latest trends, developments, and challenges in the field. LISACON - 2020 is a pla�orm for discussion and we encourage every par�cipant to make a contribu�on by sharing their unique perspec�ves and knowledge.

Maintaining High-Quality Conference Standards and Publica�on Standards:The conference is specially designed by the LIS Academy team together with a commi�ee of experts from different universi�es with the guidance of the Academic Advisory Body of LIS Academy and conference organising commi�ee. LISACON - 2020 is under the guidelines of the Commi�ee on Publica�on Ethics (COPE).

ABOUT THE THEME OF THE CONFERENCEThe advent of digital technologies has brought in disrup�ve changes in all spheres of library. Today's library is less about what we have for users and more about what we do for users. Librarianship has to reinvent and reposi�on itself to achieve excellence. The librarianship needs to rethink innova�ve content acquisi�on models, out of the box thinking in extending library services, leveraging technologies, new modes of reaching the user community. The LISACON-2020 theme "Reinven�ng Excellence in Librarianship" will focus on bringing best prac�ces, success stories, case studies, and innova�ve research outcomes to a common pla�orm.
