May Ball Friday 26th April 2013 Newsletter It’s not too late to book your place at the May Ball, which takes place at the Mere on Friday 10th May 2013. This is a great chance to get dressed up and enjoy some fabulous food and drink in beautiful surroundings. Tickets are £50 per head, which includes a welcome drink and a 3 course meal. If you would like further information, please contact your Form Rep or Mrs Brassington for fur- ther details. This is the main social event of the year and always raises much needed funds to pay for extras for the girls—recently the Parents’ Committee paid for the playground refurbish- ment, as well as fun events for the girls and educational equipment. Congratulations to Sehr, Halle, Issie, Ava, Sofia, Sophie and Laura for being this week’s Stars. Well done for all of your hard work. Stars of the Week Stars of the Week Congratulations to Amy, Helena, Kirstin, Ella, Becca, Vanessa, Rosa and Isobel, who were Stars of the Week prior to the Easter Holiday. Well done for all of your hard work. ESB Success Congratulations to our Form 5 and 6 girls, who achieved a fan- tastic set of ESB results this week. We had a high percentage of distinctions, which reflects all of the hard work that girls from both forms have put into preparing for these exams. Thank you to both Form Teachers for their work and a particular thank you to Mrs Clark, who has worked so hard with the girls. This set of results bodes very well for the girls who are taking part in the upcoming Alderley Edge Festival. We continue to be very proud of our girls’ achievements in Speech and Drama, which we believe are skills for life.

be bringing home a letter this afternoon explaining the arrangements.

Please read this letter very carefully - if you have any queries at all

then Mrs Rundell will be happy to help.

Bag2School Collection bags will be sent home next Friday prior to the collection

on Wednesday 15th May. This is both a fantastic way to support the

School and a good excuse to have a clear out! If you would like a

bag before Friday, please collect one from the School Office.

Happy Birthday to . . .

Gabriella in F2, who was 7 on Tuesday

Lydia in F2, who was 7 on Thursday
