What is mean deviation of Normal distribution? = .8 * σ


What are quartile Deviations of Normal Distribution? μ - .675* σ (first quartile) μ +.675 * σ (Third Quartile).


What is the area in μ - 3* σ to μ + .3* σ ? 99.73% answer.


What is the area in μ - 2* σ to μ + .2* σ ? 95.46 % answer.


What is the area in μ - 1* σ to μ + .1* σ ? 68.27 % area. Answer.


In a mock Test at Afterschoool, the mean Marks are 500 and Standard Deviation is 48, what is number of persons who have scored between 548 and 600. the total number of students taking tests are 200?

Formulae : (548-500)/48 = 1 (600-500)/48 = 2.08 We shall take values from Normal Distribution

table and find the values, these values are: .84 and .98

The difference is .14 So answer is 200*.14 = 28 answer.
