Website
In resonance with the national initiative Digital India, in the the last year, ISCCM has also made some significant steps towardsdigitization of our society. We are happy to present some highlights of the activities towards that in the year that just went by.
Information Website
ISCCM information website www.isccm.org has rich information about the society and its activities and events. ISCCM hastaken a unique initiative to offer ISCCM Membership ID from its website (using OTP based authentication) This model wasadopted on the basis of Adhar Card website. Additionally, members now also generate their membership certificates onwww.isccm.org
ISCCM Membership Database
In a major initiative to update the accuracy and health of our database, ISCCM undertook the 3 months activity to updatemembership data. The results were very encouraging, as ISCCM now has a much more robust database. We have already seenmuch better impact of this improved data in all our activities.
Branch Management System (BMS)
One of the major highlights in the past year has been ISCCM's Branch Management System initiative. All the ISCCM branchesare now linked with the center through the BMS, where they are sharing important information such as branch activities, accounts details, queries etc. We hope to make BMS more active in coming years.
Education
ISCCM education portal also saw great progress. The new education portal (http://education.isccm.org) has automated mostactivities of ISCCM education. From new student applications, teacher applications, to payment of fees and even generation ofHall Tickets http://education.isccm.org has been completely revamped.
Election (E-Voting)
Over the past several years ISCCM has been using E-Voting system. ISCCM was one of the very first medical societies in India toadopt E-Voting and was a leader. This ISCCM took this initiative even further as we promoted and encouraged ISCCM electionportal to be used by its local branches. This several branches took advantage of ISCCM election portal. We hope more and morebranches come forward to take advantage of this initiative by ISCCM.
Research
ISCCM also used website to conduct research projects such as INDICAPS II. In the coming year we are planning tooperationalize CHITRA.
