LCMC - We are a Lutheran congregation belonging to a group called Lutheran Congregations in Mission For Christ (LCMC). Jesus Christ and his Good News is the center of who we are. Emmanuel Lutheran Church mission statement – At ELC, our purpose statement is Glorify God. Our purpose is to connect people to God and to be transformed by God. This purpose is why we do what we do. We strive to live in the image of Jesus Christ. This drives everything that we do. We believe that the church’s purpose and values come from the Bible which is the inspired word of God. Following the priorities taught and lived by Christ; we believe the great focus of a Christian life is to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as your-self. Living in these relationships with God and each oth-er means becoming faithful, generous in spirit, broad-minded and passionate children of God who pursue a Christ-centered way of life. You will find there are no perfect people here. We are a people of faith who believe that God is a God of grace who welcomes all, and in that grace offers reconciliation to God and to one another.
