SANTA LUCIA Santa Lucia is on 13th December. For children it is a very amusing day because there are many stalls where we can buy some statues for the crib and many sweets like torrone and nuts. After, we decorate our houses with beautiful Christmas trees, lights and balls. Then we wait for the 25th when SANTA CLAUS will give us some wonderful presents. Even if we know it is a joke we wait for that day with a lot of enthusiasm.

The night between 31st December and 1st January is very important : there are a lot of parties where people wait for midnight all together or with friends or families . In every town we can see fireworks. It is a very particular moment.
