As Asia’s first and the world’s second largest power transmission show, PTC ASIA serves as an important platform to showcase power transmission and control technology. Like a magnet, it attracts the world’s leading enterpri-ses, innovative SMEs, and startups to jointly discuss the trends of the industry and exchange thoughts about the importance of power transmission and control technology in the future.
PTC ASIA 2018 gathered 1,300 companies from various countries such as Germany, Italy, Turkey, USA, Spain, Portu-gal, Japan, Hungary and Romania. Moreover, it attracted 100,616 professional visits from 97 countries and regions.
PTC ASIA 2019 will ex-pand to 10 halls, it will cover 10 exhibit catego-ries including hydrau-lics, pneumatics, seals, bearings, gears, motors, belts, chains, springs and industrial supply. It will boost the "Made in China 2025" strategy with latest products, technologies and so-lutions for the manu-facturing industry and carry on the model of “large industrial plat-form” proposed at Han-nover Messe.

Concurrent eventsThere were 13 events during the same period as PTC ASIA 2018, including the SMART Manufacturing Forum powered by VDMA, the Speed Reducer Technology Innovation Seminar, the China International Automotive Transmission and High Efficiency Transmission Technology Seminar, the Bearing Seminar, the automotive industry matchmaking event for new energy, the overseas buyers sourcing event and many more. They attracted many visitors from various fields of expertise.
SMART PavilionSince it was set up in 2017, the SMART Pavilion has invited numerous model manufacturers to showcase their solutions on predictive maintenance and innovative applications on smart power transmission and fluid power. Visitors were able to experience demonstrations of highly integrated components and solutions focussing on reliability, sustainability, energy efficiency and their economic life cycle costs. Industrial Supply ASIA 2018 came to a successful close at the Shanghai New International Expo Center on November 9th, 2018. The exhibition attracted various basic component companies specialized on casting, forging, machining, stamping, sheet metal and surface treatment. The exhibitors showcased their advanced, precise and cutting-edge products and manufacturing technologies in hall E2. The four-day show broke a new visitor record with a total of 100,616 visits (total number including concurrent shows).
The concept of sustainable development has now become a global consensus. As a result, lightweight materials remain a good way to implement this idea, because they can minimize resource waste and environmental pollution.
This year, inside Industrial Supply Special Display Area at PTC ASIA we will focus on the topics of lightweight materi-als, die-casting, forging, surface treatment technology and supply chain optimization , in order to provide a perfect communication platform for both supply and demand.
BME China Procurement Week Organized by BME (Association for Supply Chain Ma-nagement, Procurement & Logistics Germany) and Han-nover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd., the “2018 BME China Procurement Week” was held concurrently with PTC ASIA and Industrial Supply Asia. In this specialized sour-cing area eight German industrial enterprises displayed their purchasing needs with the aim to find new sup-pliers. Among the participants were KNAUF and SMS Group, who were satisfied with their sourcing results as well as the services and information acquired during the event.
Organized by Qingdao Suppliers China Consultancy Co., Ltd. and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd., the “2018 FSC Industrial Com-ponents Procurement Event” was successfully held on the second exhibition day. The event attracted 180 delegates from all over the world. Buyers such as, Siemens, WARTSILA, SKF, DANA, SDS, SLÄ-HULT, ARMSTRONG, VAG, Xi Mai Mechanical, LONKING and more listed their specific needs and projects to source for potential sup-pliers. Thanks to the pre-event matchmaking services provided by the organizers, the buyers and suppliers were able to get in touch already before the event, which made the procurement onsite even more efficient.
