The discipline known as New Testament theology moves beyond this in an attempt to synthesize the theological perspectives of the different writ- ings. Bibliography: New Testament TheologyIntroductory study of the New Testament is concerned primarily with the interpre-tation of individual books, each of which presents its own distinctive theological message. The discipline known as New Testament theology moves beyond this in an attempt to synthesize the theological perspectives of the different writ-ings.
