Kazakhstan - Completion of Certificate of Secondary Education (Attestat / Svidetel’ stvo o Srednem Obrazovanil) with grade 4 in each of the subjects; or
Singapore - Students taking the GCE A-Level / IAL Examinations: Fulfillment of the General Entrance Requirements and Programme Admission Requirements for GCE AL / IAL applicants
- Students from Polytechnics: Diploma, Professional Diploma or Technical Diploma awarded by one of the following institutions, provided that the period of study extends over not less than two years (full-time) or four years (part-time): Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic orTemasek Polytechnic
- Students taking the Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level Examinations: Grade E or above in at least 3 H2 subjects (other than Chinese/Mandarin and English) or Grade E or above i n 2 H2 plus 2 H1 subjects (other than Chinese/Mandarin and English)
South Korea - Completion of General High School Diploma (Ilbankye Kodung Hakkyo) with grade C "mi" (70-79) or above in each of the subjects; or
- College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) [Suneung]. To be competitive for admission, a score of 300 (75%) or above is normally expected
Thailand - Senior Secondary School-leaving Certificate (e.g.Mathayom Suksa 6 - M6) with grade 3 or above in each subject on a 4 point scale
Examination Requirement - Grade E or above in 3 AL (or A2) subjects (other than Chinese/Mandarin/English); or
- Grade E in 2 AL (or A2) plus 2 Advanced Supplementary (AS) subjects (other than Chinese/ Mandarin/English)
IB Diploma - An overall minimum score of 24

Entrance Requirements for International Students
Requirements are subject to on-going review. The University reserves its right to revise the requirements if and when necessary.
TOEFL paper-based testinternet-based test
- A minimum total score of 1190 (out of 1600) in the new SAT Reasoning Test (including Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, and Mathematics) / 1650 (out of 2400) in the old SAT Reasoning Test (including Critical Reading, Writing, and Mathematics) in one sitting
- Grade C or above
- A minimum score of 590 in the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing of the new SAT / a sub-score on essay writing of no less than 8 in the old SAT
- Successful completion of one year’s study in a bachelor’s dregree programme at a recognized university
