Dear Parents/Carers The end of term is finally here and the children are all very excited about the Christmas break. This has been a very exciting week with a number of very successful Christmas events in all year groups, many of which were really well attended by parents and carers. Thank you for your generous donations for Operation Christmas Child; this money makes a real difference . Today we have said goodbye to Miss Brown from Poppy class and Mrs Phillips from the school library. Both are leaving us to take on new challenges and we wish them every success in the future. We are very grateful for their work here at Christ the Sower. Can I take this opportunity to wish you all a vey merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and I look forward to seeing all the children back at CTS on Monday 7th January. CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS

Thank you for joining in the many Christmas

celebrations over the last week. It has been

wonderful to share the story of Christmas in

community together.

The Carol Service, let by Year 5

and 6, and accompanied by the

talented Toddington Town Band

was a musical celebration;

children read clearly and sang

with joy.

The Foundation Nativity

was a delight as always.

The Christingle Service by

Year 1 and 2 was very well

attended by parents who

enjoyed the wonderful carol

singing that accompanied

the Christmas story.

Meanwhile, at St Mary’s

Church, Year 3 and 4 were

led in worship by Watling

Valley by the light of their

Christingles. We were

particularly pleased that a

confident and servant-hearted

group of Year 5 and 6’s were

able to share the joy of this

season by singing carols at Mallard House. It

brought obvious delight to one gentleman in

particular.

A wonderful winter poem by Charlie in Year 4
