    The Dinner will be hosted on 15 August 2017 from 19:00 at the Sandton Convention Centre, Pavilion, Level 5. All conference delegates are invited to attend the annual gala dinner as part of the standard conference registration package. Please advise whether you will be attending the dinner.

    Should you wish to invite a guest to accompany you, an additional fee of R 750.00 + VAT = R 855.00 will apply.

    Please note that registration for the dinner in advance of the conference is required in order to enable us to cater accordingly.     INTRODUCTION

    The Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIA SA) will be hosting the 20th Annual Southern African Internal Audit Conference from the 14 - 16 of August 2017, at the Sand-ton Convention Centre. The conference, themed Stepping into unchartered territory aims to share new ways of thinking as well as best practices in pursuit of excellence in our profession. The IIA SA will endeavour to equip each participant with the opportunity to expand their knowledge and to progress on their way to achieving outstanding per-formance.

    The Southern African Internal Audit Conference is the premier Internal Audit event of the year. The conference runs over 2,5 days and features plenary sessions as well as tracks, with several prominent speakers and experts in the fields of internal auditing, gover-nance, risk management and business, who will share their views on best practice in in-ternal auditing, emerging issues and a variety of business and personal development topics.

    The Southern African Internal Audit Conference has become a tradition with members and is loyally supported each year making it the largest gathering of internal audit professionals in Southern Africa. The conference once again promises to be the event of the year where internal auditors can listen to expectations, share ideas, get global perspectives and network with auditors, management, audit committee members, ac-ademics, socials and regulators.

    ADMINISTRATION

    The format of the 20th Southern African Internal Audit Conference program includes a selection of plenary and parallel sessions. Plenary sessions are attended by all delegates. Parallel sessions are selected by participants according to their special interest preferences. At the conference, the seating for all sessions is on a first come, first served basis.
