Should you wish to invite a guest to accompany you, an additional fee of R 750.00 + VAT = R 855.00 will apply.

Please note that registration for the dinner in advance of the conference is required in order to enable us to cater accordingly. INTRODUCTION

The Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIA SA) will be hosting the 20th Annual Southern African Internal Audit Conference from the 14 - 16 of August 2017, at the Sand-ton Convention Centre. The conference, themed ‘Stepping into unchartered territory’ aims to share new ways of thinking as well as best practices in pursuit of excellence in our profession. The IIA SA will endeavour to equip each participant with the opportunity to expand their knowledge and to progress on their way to achieving outstanding per-formance.

The Southern African Internal Audit Conference is the premier Internal Audit event of the year. The conference runs over 2,5 days and features plenary sessions as well as tracks, with several prominent speakers and experts in the fields of internal auditing, gover-nance, risk management and business, who will share their views on best practice in in-ternal auditing, emerging issues and a variety of business and personal development topics.

The Southern African Internal Audit Conference has become a tradition with members and is loyally supported each year making it the largest gathering of internal audit professionals in Southern Africa. The conference once again promises to be the event of the year where internal auditors can listen to expectations, share ideas, get global perspectives and network with auditors, management, audit committee members, ac-ademics, socials and regulators.

ADMINISTRATION

The format of the 20th Southern African Internal Audit Conference program includes a selection of plenary and parallel sessions. Plenary sessions are attended by all delegates. Parallel sessions are selected by participants according to their special interest preferences. At the conference, the seating for all sessions is on a first come, first served basis.

To register online for the conference complete the registration form via the IIA SA web-site: www.iiasa.org.za.

On receipt of your registration form, the conference secretariat will issue an invoice con-taining deposit/bank details within two working days with a letter confirming receipt of your registration application.

There are several options to save on registration fees. Early registration 7 July 2017, IIA SA membership and group registrations (5 or more registrations submitted simultaneously) could save you on regular registration fees.

Development (CPD) hours.

IIA SA MEMBERSHIP

Join the IIA SA in advance of the conference and qualify for the discounted member rate and be-come one of more than 185 000 professional internal auditors worldwide who recognise the value of membership. For more information on how to become a member please visit the IIA SA website. In order for members to qualify for the member rate at the conference their IIA SA member-ship needs to be fully paid up by no later than 4 August 2017, after which time the balance of the non-member rate will be charged for. Please also note that the Con-ference is a pre-paid event and it is the delegate’s responsibility to ensure payment is made before

Group Discounts

A 10% group discount will apply to organisations placing a simultaneous booking for 5 or more registrants. The group discount will only apply to an organisation submitting registra-tion applications simultaneously and paying for the group in one transaction. Note that the group indicator on the registration form must be ticked of for each individual registration application in that particular group.

The Conference Registration Officer will issue an invoice for payment with bank details, once the registration application has been processed. Applications with credit card de-tails should be faxed to the Conference Registration Officer at 086 551 1680 or email receipt of the registration application form and a receipt will be issued to confirm regis-tration and payment.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing. Please note that tele-phonic cancellations are not permitted Cancellations received on or before 21 July 2017will incur a 20% administration fee. There is no refund for cancellations received after this date. There is no charge for substitutions, but the request must be submitted in writing to the Conference Registration Officer, accompanied by written permission from the orig-inal registrant
