Feel free to take it with you and share it with others especially the sick and the home bound. Ways that you could make your contributions

ST CHAD’S PILGRIMAGE, 23 SEPTEMBER 2017 Bishop Michael Ipgrave, the Bishop of Lichfield, and Long-ly invite clergy and parishioners of the two Dioceses to take part in a pilgrim walk from St Chad's Cathedral, Bir-mingham to Lichfield Cathedral, approximately 18 miles. This is not a sponsored event but an ecumenical initiative which will allow for people to take part in a stage of the walk if you feel that the whole distance is too much. The route will move from St Chad's, along arranged canal paths and emerging at Perry Common. Then onward through Sutton Park and Little Aston.

Kindly note that the parish office is closed for summer.

Parish Bournemouth Trip on Sat 2nd Sept cost: £15 Adults £8.00 children up to14yrs,

or simply make your own donation & join us as a parish social event.

To be paid by 16th August. Please put payment in an envelope mark

‘Bournemouth Trip’ ( cash or cheques made pay-able to ‘St Thomas More Parish’) and hand it

over to the sacristy or put it through the Inner door of the presbytery, with the names of

the people that is paid for.

If you would like to come please put your name on the list in the church porch. Please ensure

only one name is entered against each seat number.

Out of 49 places, there are only about 14 places left on a first come first served basis. Please do support it by joining us you can bring with you

anther parishioner, a friend or anyone who may like to have a day trip, getting out of home.

Marriage Encounter Weekends will be taking place at Barnes Close, Bromsgrove (Non Residen-tial) 9th-10th September 2017 and at the Ibis Hotel, Rugby (Residential) 24th-26th November 2017. They are enrichment weekends for nor-mal, ordinary marriages ( NOT counselling). ME weekends have proved time and time again to be of immense value to couples however long they have been married.
