AON Risk (Stralfors): Directed and delivered a large scale project incorporating data processing, print on demand and a web-based job

management system (£150k - £300k); managing the development of software systems, setting up secure communication links between AON sites and supporting processing of UK warranty certificates from AON through their print centre in Redruth.

The project meant that certificates were digitally printed on demand which was an innovative solution and resulted in same-day production and increased cashflow.

British Telecom (Stralfors): Oversaw delivery of an electronic stock ordering and transport scheduling project (£500k – £1m) on a national

scale; utilising electronic data interchange (EDI) standards to move transactional data between Stralfors and BT Print Centres across the UK.

The outcome of this project was a reduction in stock holding, transport costs and stock wastage as well as providing added value management information to the flagship customer.

Received nomination in three categories of the BT Investment in Excellence Awards as a result of the project.

Cornwall Farmers Ltd: Played a pivotal role in the deployment of a Retail Point of Sale and Communications Network (£500k - £1m);

overseeing the successfully deployment of a computerised point of sale, stock control and management information across retail and wholesale divisions for the group.

Designed and implemented a communications network between branches and Head Office; testing the quality and reliability to ensure efficient computerised system processes. The project resulted in significant cost savings through a reduction in manpower as well as an increase in cashflow by more efficient statement production.

Oversaw and coordinated a project for Machinery Sales and Service Scheduling to deploy a complex communications network through using specialised software for the sale and service management of agricultural machinery; achieving cost reductions, improved customer service and improved scheduling.
