Step 4: Select Line Cord(s) The following sections describe the available line cords and list a limited selection of cords as examples. More are available from Eltek Valere.

Compact Power Shelf Connection Codes The first two letters of the line cord part number describe the type of AC input connection for which it is designed. Compact power shelves have a variety of AC input connection types. See Table 6 to Table 14 for the descriptions and compatible Compact shelf families for each cord type.

Immediately following the cord type letters are two digits for the cord length (in feet) and two digits for the wire gauge (AWG).

NEMA Plug Codes The last portion of the line cord part number is the NEMA plug type, which is on the AC source end of the cord. NEMA plugs can be ordered as part of the line cord, or they can be ordered separately and shipped loose.

NOTICE: The code “UU” means “unterminated”. No plug or connector is provided on the AC source end of the cord.

Strain Relief The rear-wire shelves A, C, K and P have knockouts for wire entry in the AC input box. These shelves come with two (2) strain relief assemblies for the ¾” conduit knockouts. A strain relief assembly for the 1” conduit knockout can be ordered separately.
