2021 VIRTUAL TEEN GIRL MINISTRY UNITS

Dear Leaders, We are excited to provide an alternative option for the girls that you lead to continue with biweekly Teen Girl Ministries units even if your church is not physically meeting. Starting in October, the National Girls Ministries team will be providing biweekly, unit-based videos for girls to use as they continue to earn their charms in Friends and pins in Girls Only. That means 2 videos per month that focuses on one unit. We will post a new video every other week. There will only be two videos per unit regardless of the club they are currently in. Our team has coordinated similar units and created a lesson overview based on the lesson plans in each of the Sponsor’s Guides. (see pg. 2) Though the video lessons will be similar, the girls are still required to memorize the verse that’s specific to their club’s unit. Additionally, if your girl has already earned the same unit badge, she may earn a second one through this virtual outlet and it will be counted as one of their required units toward honoring. For example, when a preteen or teen girl watches the 2 monthly videos, completes the journal pages for her specific club and can recite the unit’s memory verse, she can earn the corresponding charm/pin for her age-specific club. The criteria for them to earn their unit charm/pin includes:

• Watch the 2 videos each month that will apply to the corresponding units for each of the two Teen Girls Minnistries clubs.

• Memorize the unit scripture verse for the month. • Complete the corresponding journal pages for each unit available and submit it

to their local church Sponsor. (This can be done by sending a picture of their completed pages via text or email.) Journals are available here:

We realize that this option may not meet the needs of every girl; however, we want to provide a way for girls to continue to study God’s Word, stay on track for honoring, and connect with their leaders. We pray that this virtual option will help your girls still engage in the lessons if your church cannot meet in person. We are excited to provide these resources for you!
