WEEK 1 NEW WESTMINSTER March 15-19 Sports & Computers Ages: 9-15 Time: 9am-4pm Locaon: New West Campus Cost: $210/$185(Early Bird) Learn new skills in the gym and new programs on the computer. This combined camp will get campers active in playing various sports and co-operative games, while also trying their hands at different computer projects in the lab. Jr. Royals Soccer Ages: 7-12 Time: 9am-12pm Location: Queens Park South Cost: $115/$105(Early Bird) There will be limited enrollments in these camps, in order to maintain social distancing and proper sanitization of players and equipment. The focus of the camps will be individual skill development. Topics will include ball handling, footwork, dribbling, passing and shooting. There will still be some fun individual contests, but we will take the direction of the provincial health authority in terms of the ability to offer full games. *This camp occurs at Queens Park South Field, Pick and Drop off will take place at QP South Jr. Royals Basketball Ages: 7-12 Time: 1pm-4pm Location: Olivet Church Cost: $115/$105(Early Bird) This half day program designed for the younger age groups. Mathletics A new camp designed to incorporate some background knowledge of the Olympic Games with all the behind the scenes math to make it work.This camp will explore measurement, graphing, computation, data analysis and fractions while analyzing the results of previous Olympic events and participants. Drama & Improv This a great class for students looking to sample different aspects of drama through improvisation games and techniques such as storytelling, character development, & voice work. Where everyday is a little bit different with lots of drama games that will explore the stage with imagination, cooperation and bravery. Students will craft their own piece of theatre that will be presented on the final day Our all-new cartooning camp will allow everyone to showcase their creative side. This introductory course requires no drawing expertise, as students will be learning the foundations of cartooning and applying it to activities such as creating comic strips, storyboards, and abstract art. The focus of this course will be expressing individual creativity and learning the basics.
