SUBJECT-BASED BANDING (PRIMARY)
Subject-based Banding (Primary) was introduced asa refinement to the streaming process to help eachchild realise his/ her potential, based on his/ herstrengths and needs.
It provides greater flexibility for your child byoffering him/ her the option of a combination ofstandard and foundation subjects, depending on his/her strengths.

MISCONCEPTION
Offering subjects at the foundation level is not adisadvantage to your child. It enables him to focuson building up strong fundamentals in thesesubjects and better prepares him for progression tosecondary school.
