The City of Bowie plans to apply for the 2020 State Urgent Need (SUN) Fund from the Community De-velopment Block Grant (CDBG) Program of the Texas Department of Ag-riculture (TDA). Accord-ingly, the City is seeking to contract with a qualified Engineering/Architectural/Surveying Firm (individual/firm) to prepare all prelimi-nary and final design plans and specifications, and to conduct all necessary in-terim and final inspections. These services are being solicited to assist the City in its application preparation and project implementa-tion of a SUN Fund con-tract, if awarded, to support improvements to public infrastructure and utilities that were damaged from a tornado that struck the City in May 2020 and/or other eligible activities in the City of Bowie.
