For me, Christmas has always been a time of gathering, celebrations, and silliness. Coming from a family

that scattered to the corners of the United States, Christmas is often the event that brings us all physically

together, which makes it that much more special.

The gnomes are like a family: we all have the uncle who can’t untangle the lights or the cousin who wants to

figure out what’s in the wrapped packages, unable to wait until Christmas morning. The mom or aunt who

needs her coffee to keep up with the holiday happenings and the person who just wants to eat the cookies

and drink Santa’s milk.
