About us

The Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK) is a land sector professionals’ organization made up of Valuers, Land Surveyors, Registered Estate Agents, Property Managers, Building Surveyors, Land Administration Managers, Engineering Surveyors, Geospatial Information Management Surveyors and Facilities Managers. Current membership is over 4000 spread throughout the Country.

Our members are engaged in both the public and private sectors and are generally involved in the processes of land services delivery, formulation and implementation of land policies and management of land resources. As an Institution, our key objectives is to promote the professional ethical performance of services rendered by our members and also to ensure that our members actively contribute towards the development of national and international policies, strategies and plans for land management in a sustainable manner.

Our Mission

To advance the surveying profession in Kenya so as to enhance competence of surveyors in the management of the natural and built environment with a view of positively influencing the society to ensure sustainable land management and development.

ISK offers customized in house training for corporate and member firms in all the above areas and with emphasis on

ISK Training Institute

The Institute is now in operations and we are in the process of getting accredited by Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) as well as a Training Provider by National Industrial and Training Authority (NITA) to offer Executive Courses and short training courses.The target groups for the training are:a) ISK Members;b) Estate Agents; c) Building Caretakers;d) Professionals and practitioners from other disciplines seeking for knowledge in real estate/surveying

knowledge; ande) Land Statutory Board (e.g. Land Board) officials.The trainings under the training institute will be conducted either in the evenings or full day on Saturday.We have included two trainings for the year 2020 in the calendar in March and July.
