Chairman’s Welcome

Manny DeSantis

Jennifer Reid, and technical and training updates from Dr. Salim Brahimi and Laurence Claus. This is also a great place to ask your peers about their experience with the newly launched IFI 180 Skills online training platform. Our business agenda will begin with P&I and the Board meetings on Sunday morning and a Membership reception and dinner that evening. Monday will feature our Membership meeting and speakers, with spouses enjoying a fun “Paint and Sip” art session. Following the meeting we’ll hold the golf outing at Dunedin, or non-golfers can choose to either enjoy a dolphin sightseeing tour aboard a chartered boat or a fantastic Dunedin Food Tour by bus. Tuesday we will hold the Divisional meetings and you’ll hear from our guest speakers. Following the meeting is the optional Sea Life Safari Eco Tour by boat, or Segway Tour through a 7.5 mile journey up the Clearwater Beachwalk, the Memorial Causeway and to the Marina. The day will end with a very memorable reception high above the gulf on the rooftop terrace of the resort. Make sure you’re on time so you don’t miss the spectacular gulf sunset view! Following the reception will be the awards dinner, complete with a DJ to provide entertainment. Cheryl and I look forward to spending time with all of you!

Delegates, Spouses, and Special Guests:

On behalf of the IFI, Cheryl and I invite you to join us at the 2020 Annual Spring Meeting in Clearwater, Florida. We hope you will enjoy the location, amenities and the program. The Hyatt Regency

Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is just 20 miles from the Tampa International Airport (TPA), or 13 miles from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE). The resort is set between the spectacular Gulf of Mexico and Clearwater Bay. Great restaurants, shopping and fun in the sun are just steps away from the hotel. Golfers will enjoy playing at the beautiful Dunedin Golf Club, which was designed by legendary golf course architect Donald Ross and was the home of PGA of America for nearly two decades. The Spring meeting will once again feature renowned economist Dr. Alan Beaulieu, who will enlighten us on the state of manufacturing and the economy. We also have a very special guest speaker Greg “Boss” Wooldridge, who served as the commanding officer of The Blue Angels for three separate tours. You will also hear essential updates on IFI’s Government Affairs efforts from

Dr. Alan beaulieu greg wooldridge

One of the country’s most informed economists, Dr. Alan beaulieu is President and a principal of ITR Eco-nomics. Since 1990, he has consulted across North America, Europe, and Asia,

applying his mastery of business cycle trend anal-ysis to help companies improve their forecasting and planning to increase profits. Alan also serves as Senior Eco-nomic Advisor to numerous US and international trade associations. Alan has coauthored, with Brian Beaulieu, the books “Make Your Move,” “Prosperity in the Age of Decline,” and “But I Want It!” He has also penned numerous articles and makes up to 90 appearances a year. Alan’s keynotes and semi-nars have helped thousands of business owners and executives capitalize on emerging trends.

greg “boss” wooldridge is the only commanding officer to lead The Blue Angels for three sepa-rate tours. He was first selected because of his demonstrated ability to build teams where communication, trust and team-

work took precedence over rank and status. From the very start of his career in the Navy, Greg was immersed in the building of great teams. Acting as a commander of a carrier squadron, Greg discovered that teams which drive toward something greater than themselves unlock an ability to perform at extreme levels. His heart-driven ap-proach proved a perfect match for the Blue Angel’s culture of excellence, and he was called back to lead two more teams through times of difficult transition. Since his success with the Blues, Greg has been inspired to share his meth-ods in order to empower individuals and teams on their journey toward High Performance.
