It’s almost time for the 4th Annual Hyattsville Zombie Run! Last year we had over 575 racers participate, and we are ready to top that number this year!

WHAT IS IT? The Hyattsville Zombie Run! is a fun, healthy, family-friendly event promoting a healthy lifestyle and exercise.

The event includes three races:

1 K Family Fun Run1 Mile Kids Run

5K USATF Certified

WHEN: Saturday, October 5th, 2019. The first race starts at 9:00 a.m.

WHERE: Magruder Park, 3911 Hamilton Street, Hyattsville, Maryland. All races start and finish in the park. It passes through the tree-lined

streets of historic Hyattsville.

WHO: All racers, runners, joggers, or walkers are invited to participate. We have three races for all.

WHY: The Hyattsville Zombie Run! is a fun way to celebrate being healthy while raising money for a great cause. All profits benefit our neighborhood school, Hyattsville Elementary School. Other schools can raise money for their own PTA’s. Ask us how!

The funds support the HES PTA in enhancing educational opportunities for both the students and the teachers. Zombie Run funds have been used to buy classroom Chromebooks, cameras, books, athletic equipment, musical instruments, transportation for field trips, field day supplies,

art equipment and supplies, coats, backpacks, and other school related needs.

THEME: Although the race has a zombie theme, dressing up is not required. But we highly encourage everyone to get in on the fun! Costumes are not limited to only zombies--anything family-friendly is welcome!

When running our race you canchoose to be an individual fundraiser at registration. Individual Fundraisers

get their own webpage to raise money for their own

school from family and friends who sponsor them to run in the race.

They also have an opportunityto win prizes such as Kindles, movie tickets, or even a brand

new bike.

Last year, Students from 16 Schools participated and

raised over $6,000!
