Enrol by mail: Please phone Wyreena to secure your place and then make your cheque out to ‘Wyreena Community Arts Centre’ and post it to Maroondah City Council P.O Box 156 Ringwood 3134.

Payment options: cash, credit card (Visa & MasterCard).

• By paying for your course, you have agreed to the terms and conditions.

• Enrolments are not confirmed until payment has been received.

• Enrolment forms are required annually for children’s classes.

Terms and conditions

1. Full payment is required when enrolling.

2. Please ensure you keep your contact details current by contacting the Wyreena office

3. Course commencement is subject to a minimum number of enrolments being met.

4. A refund will only be issued if Wyreena administration is notified no later than one week prior to commencement of course.

5. Once a course has commenced, no refunds will be issued. There are no refunds on classes you miss due to your inability to attend.

6. If your course is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.

7. All enrolment queries and changes are to be directed to the office and not your tutor.

Mosaic ArtClaire is a potter and mosaic artist. This class is all about creating your own mosaic tiles which are then used to make your artwork. Spend time making tiles out of clay - adding and subtracting clay to create a 3D tile - and then finishing your piece with the assistance of Claire’s expert knowledge.

PotteryOur experienced tutors are also talented artists who love to share their years of experience with you. Wheel Work *Learn all the basics of creating work on a pottery wheel such as how to wedge and how to centre clay. A small class of 6 only, this is the perfect place to learn about wheel work. Note that this class includes firing but not glazes.

Creative Writing *new Learn from a published author, Eliza Henry-Jones, how to write the story that you have always wanted to tell. Spend some time during this course with like minded students who will share tips, listen to your story and help you move to the next stage.

Courses for adultsCreative Drawing and PaintingInterested in art making but don’t know where to start? Throughout the course, you will be introduced to a range of art making styles, methods, and techniques, with the aim to increase your confidence in creating art. Fun and challenging exercises will be set to encourage you to develop your personal style. This course will cover an introduction to colour mixing, tone and composition through abstract art and expressive mark making.

PastelsPastels are a beautiful medium. This class will cover a step by step still life in the first two classes. You will then work from your own reference to practise how to use pastels.
