Supervisor’s Message
2019 has kept my staff and I very busy. This is considered an off-election year, but rest assured your Elections Office has been working hard on numerous projects to prepare for the 2020 election cycle.
Our office conducted list maintenance to ensure Levy County’s voter registration records are current and accurate. Voters who have not voted in the past two years were notified to update their registration record.
On June 28th, Governor Ron DeSantis signed Senate Bill 7066 that will drastically impact how we conduct elections in Florida. This bill addresses a variety of topics such as election dates, solicitation, and Vote by Mail deadlines. These changes took effect July 1, 2019.
As always, my office is working diligently to make sure voting is easy for all Levy County voters. Please be sure to follow us on social media to keep up with election updates.
